I walked by a beautiful caftan and start thinking that I didn't see anyone ever wearing an hermes caftan! I would love to see it more
Bought one from this season, I may(?) have posted photos already.

I have worn it once already and received many compliments -

However, when I got home I realized that I had spilled something on it. :wtf:
Not a little dribble...like, a real spill. Not small. :crybaby:

I would not necessarily recommend this to anyone, but I am pretty handy with stains, so I was able to get it out - I was thrilled that in the morning I didn't even see a water mark. :wlae: :yahoo:

(if I am out, I hit a stain with seltzer immediately, then check when I get home. I didn't notice this until I was home and it had dried...took my time with a little water and hand soap and a lot of blotting and a bit of cursing and maybe a prayer or two)

Sorry not the best mod shot but here you go! I went for a loose size and the neck is definitely not constricting to me. I also picked up this cashmere cardigan  for those of you who have cardigans, do you store them folded or do you hang them (worried about sagging)? These are my first RTW purchases and want to make sure I’m storing them properly

I always store my knits folded. If you hang them, not only can they stretch out, but the ends of the hanger can distort the shoulders.

Ended up buying the jacket to match the skirt. Both 36.

Being new to rtw, i am pleased i was given a canvas travel bag for the jacket.

Gorgeous!!

Is your Kelly belt black w/ rghw? Pairs beautifully with the caftan.

The styling of this pic in particular seems to channel hermes does dior bar jacket. . .for a much better price
I have the jacket and love it. I thought I posted a pic of recent RTW purchases here, but perhaps I did in the last purchases thread. Turtleneck sweater and black jacket size 34. The etoupe cashmere Serge biker jacket, size 36 (a bit oversized so I can wear a sweater underneath. Better priced at FSH than in the US. Worn here with an Hermes leather zip mini skirt from 2022 and MtM hiro yanagimachi sneakers

The husband and I picking up our kaftan. I'm not a fan of the kelly belts because they're not reversible, so I only tried one on.View attachment 5869516
You guys styled it better than the Hermes website!

Looks fabulous on you, twin!

I actually prefer the Kelly Belt for several reasons - it’s fully adjustable so it will fit with whatever you’re wearing, and I find it lays flatter than a belt with a separate buckle. I realize the turnlock isn’t flat, but the belt and buckle themselves seem to get in the way.

Thank you!

Tried on a couple of things in Asia in preparation for my A/W travels.
Classic pink Twillaine cardi with a little bit of gold bling in the trim, cotton shorts in the same material and colour as my dress. I found the pink quilted jacket quite a nice cut on me. Same with the padded Astrologie jacket which comes with a matching pencil skirt to make a total look.

Also tried these. The coat with the attached shawl inserts is cut way oversized, this is 34 and has the dropped shoulder seams which don't work well on me. It's cut for someone very well endowed and I only got a bit of shape by trying it in front. Please imagine that I am wearing leggings instead of leather shorts.
The shorts are loose on me in size 38 but quite comfy.
