We’re twins! I saw the black and the beige at the rendezvous event today and got beige :drinks:
at rendezvous, they asked to take a pic of me in the jacket, and then gave me a quick portrait

Both are gorgeous

@ekbright , see below for a pic of the label; act quickly bc the RTW manager said beige might sell out very very soon (as in immediately). 12,600USD

I found it ran large. I’m a 36/38. (Skirt is oddly a 34) Chunkier than @haute okole, but not much chest. 34 did fit but the closure was pulling tight, so I went uo to a 36 (pic below).

How was the rest of the event?!! What else did they have??
Thanks @Bdbunny
A lot of coats, both shearling, deerskin (trenches), and cashmere
A lot of separates organized by color and pattern

ETA: @Bdbunny, it is very soft, but not sure how warm it will be. It’s short and wind will travel right up the body and sleeves (the poncho buttons run all the way up from the hem to the sleeve ends). Plus, the light color means I will only wear it when it’s absolutely sunny, no chance of rain or snow. . . And, I’m also positive that i will mess up or snap the horn? closure. But, I’m not the most practical person, and I love it; it makes me feel fabulous lol

I’ve machine washed and air-dried my H cotton dresses and tshirts with some success. One (navy ‘canoe’ polo dress) shrank lengthwise but I’d bought it one size too big so that was fine. It’s now soft and cosy.
The do re boucle dress from this season and an older cotton tshirt also did well in the wash.

They all shrink a bit in the first wash and then soften up in subsequent washes. Pareos and beach tunics also fair well in the machine. I never throw anything in the dryer - always hang to dry.

But fair warning, I also hand wash my silk dresses and CSGMs - so I may be more lax than most of you in taking care of your garments to maintain that pristine look.

it makes me feel fabulous lol
And that’s all that counts, really! It looks amazing on you. And love the portrait too.

Thank you so much. I always want those cotton t shirt dresses but I know myself would never make it to the dry clean. It’s good to know it can be size up and machine washed/ hang to dry.

If you want to be a bit more careful than me, try hand washing the cotton dresses instead of the machine.

I also regularly machine wash most of my Chanel knits because I wear them a lot.

I only dry clean items absolutely not washable - mostly anything lined like coats, jackets and tweed dresses/skirts etc.

Oh, also, I forgot to mention that *important* I use mesh bags (laundress sold them but other brands too) to hold all my delicate items in the wash so they don’t get stretched or worn and that helps protect them too.

12,600USD, but I fell in love almost immediately, so. . . Well, you know how that goes lol
i posted thr price, the veste poncho tag ref info, and my comments on sizing in post 3190
Sadly, the price of H RTW has really skyrocketed in the past few years

hope you and @ekbright get to see one

Thank you @Genie27 and @Bagaholic1021 !
taking notes on the machine/hand washing tips in mesh bags too
as some of my knits have bagged/stretched out. they could benefit from a little shrinkage lol
Blocking/shaping knits when damp is very useful - I need extra room around the bust and don’t like tight sleeves so I always shape any cashmere or other knits.

Ha! I LOVE LOVE LOVE  :happydance:
Shut the front door, WOMAN! I LOVE this coat on you and actually prefer this coat in cream! Absolutely STUNNING and the portrait totally captures your smile. I wish we could have attended this event together, could you imagine the laughs. This may be my favorite event because the artist was such a nice surprise. The artist at our event featured our portraits on her IG reel. Hermes really knows how to throw a party. Me and my daughter. Oh by the way, a 36, Ok Chiquitita!

That jacket…. :loveeyes: The portrait is such a lovely touch for an event. I remember in the early days of Moda Operandi they once sent a highly flattering  watercolour portrait of me wearing the outfit being delivered. I was so charmed that I didn’t even care that the dress did not look as good on me IRL as it did in the sketch! Lol
