A few of my try-ons over the weekend…

I took these two items from the rack, and it’s‘s one size too small for me.

Size 36 and more properly fit.

This long cardigan is my favorite.
It runs big. I’m trying on size 34 and it‘s quite loose still.

I love the long cardi coat in the thick cashmere - it’s very oversized - but based on the photos on Hermes.com I think it’s supposed to be that way
I also bought the 34 size
It’s so cozy

Question on long twillaines--how do you choose your sizing? I'm definitely not a 34, but it seems as long as I don't close it, it fits me perfectly when it's opened. If it fits perfectly once I close it, the shoulders and arms are too wide/long.

I always wear mine open, so I buy the size based on how it looks open... tied in the front feels too much like a bathrobe for me personally

Agree! I just bought my first twillane ex libris noir. I took my usual siz3 38 bc it was the last one. I could have easily sized down. But the SA advised that the loose fit was correct. DH also prefers it loose and dislikes the bathrobe look

ETA: @skybluesky , here is the 38 (bathrobe look is last pic)
arguably the dress in the same length is not the best look, but I was cold from air conditioning

The pictures just loaded on my computer. You look fabulous! Wondering if I should pull the trigger on this one since I don't always like the other color combos/designs but black and white is always classic.

Thanks. I love your jacket above^. I would only buy if you absolutely adore the pattern. Bc H makes many black and white twillanes, cardigans, pullovers, mouselline shirts, etc., and they’re simply all too expensive to make an impulsive mistake. I take my time. I know my SA would much rather I come back a few times to be certain rather than make an impulse buy. That way I almost never return anything once I decide. I do prefer to buy in person, and I take pics in the dressing room as a double check that I love it, and it loves me back in a way that is wearable and flattering. Happy shopping!

Thank you, that is great advice and it's what my SA said too--they always do a version every season.

Beautiful I love the twillaine if you don’t mind me asking what about the size it’s tts? Is it worth the price tag?
Wear these in good health and happiness
Thank you!
It’s a little bit too big on me. I bought size 34. I am petite 5’3” and a little bit over 105lbs. But I like the looser look. I think it’s worth the price tag. I noticed that this twillaine is actually a little bit cheaper than the other twillaine I bought from previous season

You look stunning  I always love your insights and advice. I’m starting my H RTW and i haven't decided if to buy this yet. This didn’t make my heart sing it is pretty though.Sometimes i like and sometimes don’t So i don’t want to make an expensive mistake just to build my profile. I bought a fendi silk shirt and I regret it later. And now she’s just collecting dust in my wardrobe:no: never repeat this mistake again. Thanks for your tips:hugs:

Love it with the wide leg pants. That beige is perfect match for it. Looks so effortless boss but relaxed chic。I tried the same one but bigger than my normal size. it looked really nice but it doesn’t quite fit my lifestyle for now ☹️
