I asked about sizing on the H lift sweater a week or so ago and thought I would give an update. I received my order and it is tiny! I am usually a size 34, I ordered a size 36 and it is smaller than the H lift sweater in size 34 I have from a few years ago. I recommend sizing up 2 sizes. It is also quite short, so not sure if it will work if you have a long torso.

I got the sense that it was meant to be be styled with high-waisted pants or skirts that sit at your natural waist as well.
Thanks for the flup. Your assessment matches my assumption.

This sweater is gorjus...

I have a question about whether Hermes offer a tailoring service for their RTW. I bought this gorgeous twillaine long cardigan online in size 38 (that was the last one and I love the colours) - i probably needed 34 but its sold out everywhere I have looked. It has a looser fit on the sleeves and shoulders on me - certainly wearable and I am reluctant to return it but think a more fitted look on the sleeves and sides would be more flattering as I am petite. Thought I might take it to the store and ask ... but any feedback welcome...

I don’t think they can tailor the twillaines but I guess it’s worth asking. Honestly, imo Hermes releases so many of these each season that its better to just wait until you can get one in the correct size rather than settling and being overwhelmed in too large of a size. As a petite person, I cant even pull off the twillaine in the correct size; can’t imagine an “oversized one”.

It can't hurt to ask about the sleeves and shoulders. I am petite and considered getting a twillaine and asked about shortening the length, but my SA said they couldn't as it would affect the silk portion of the piece. Maybe it's possible on this piece since it looks like the sleeves and shoulders are just knit material.

I agree with @acrowcounted though, best to wait for a better size. I love the look of the long silk twillaines, but can't pull them off as I feel like I'm essentially wearing an oversized bath robe.

thanks - I will take it in to the store and ask what might be possible. I usually wear my long twillaine cardigans with cigarette pants/ slim fit trousers and have always liked the look although they look better without the belt tied (or tied behind!) and front open.
