it would be lovely if you shared the details with the rest of us. I'm sure the store would appreciate not answering multiple calls regarding the sale.

Thanks so much for the info, it is really appreciated. Anything else that you ( or anyone) can furnish us would be very helpful as well.What items are usually there at these sales, what is the limit on your buying, crowds, exact dates ( is this a one day ( plus the VIP prior) or does this extend through the next few days, etc. Bottom line- is this worth my taking the day from work?- which I need, unfortunately, more info to determine.

There hasn't been an east coast sale in a few years (used to be in NYC). In my experience, it is impossible to predict what will be there. Usually a fair number of shoes and RTW, scarves, ties. CSGMs and mousselines -- sometimes some, sometimes none. Jewelry, like clic clacks and leather bracelets, is hit or miss. Housewares is spotty. Generally, no bags, although I have seen the odd bag (not the big 3--K, B, C) on occasion.

Sometimes they restock for each day. Other times, no.

Since there hasn't been a sale here recently, maybe the sale will be well-stocked. Lots of people stopped going in the most recent NYC sales because the selection was so bad -- waiting in line for hours was a waste of time.
