thank you
i was offered one by my SA yesterday and i am debating if i should get it or not, tough decision

It depends on your style and whether you like the look of it (color, size etc). I was offered one a few weeks back but I passed because it's too small for me and I didn't like the look of the strap. They sell fast though. The Constance I was offered to was sold within minutes after I passed it. :)

Exotic handbags increased by 14%
Leather handbags increased by 9%

(US) HTH!

14% for exotics???!!! :faint: holy hell...

does anyone know the new price of CDC Croc.thx

the bracelets have not increased in price yet, i think it's supposedly going up 1/31 or 2/1 can't remember now....

thank you

i LOVE the constance and i would snatch it up in a heartbeat if it were the MM or mini size... the micro is too small for me, and i am not a big fan of the elongated shape of the elan... also take into account the colors, but apart from that, i would totally do it. also, as per some people in the AW2012 podium thread, constance is being discontinued in regular leather (will only be made in croc moving forward from that season)... so something to think about... if you don't get it now, you may not be able to get a brand new one in the future.

if you read further on in the article, larger stores (i.e. bergdorfs, hermes) were excluded as they are part of a "chain")
otherwise i would venture a guess that they would be on the list for certain, especially based the the tpf girls!

Yes but the remark was based on an assumption.

<<<Wholesalers, manufacturers and big department stores were filtered out of the list. We imagine that's why high priced stores like Hermes and Louis Vuitton are not included in the top 25 list.>>>

Department stores I can understand but Prada, Chanel, Armani, they're exactly the same (in my mind) as Hermes and Louis Vuitton so I don't know that the author, who is surmising, is accurate. It's sort of the same as when they list the top zip codes for most expensive real estate in the U.S. that Palm Beach falls short of the top of the list. Houses there are completely over the top expensive but there are so many condos that it brings the average cost of a home way down. Hermes and LV bring in a lot of sales on scarves and smaller items whereas the other boutiques do not offer as many lower cost items. Except for shoes, everything in the Armani boutique is well over $1,000 per item. And Chanel as well. Hermes offers a wonderful variety of scarves, scarf rings, clic clacs and other less expensive items that account for a large amount of their sales.

So my feeling is the author of that article was expressing their take on why H and LV weren't included but I personally think they may be wrong.

i don't suppose we will ever know with certainty. there is a lovely store in naples, florida (an independent single location privately-owned boutique) that ranked 15th i believe. this also surprised me tremendously.....

The bottom line is we don't care where they are on the list, we love them and will continue to buy ourselves goodies, regardless of the price increase.

That's why we're all here on this thread!
