I don't think Hermes store credit ever expires- this has not been my experience. But I do think you are required to keep the evidence (gift card, store credit receipt, etc) otherwise the merchant may not have to honor it.

The Blue Electric Picotin that I got last month was $2K only and I recalled looking at the canvas GP bag on Monday night and it was still $1750. They changed the price once it hit midnight EST. I was told that leather goods go up today and silks will be Thursday. I was scrambling with my SA in Vegas to buy something just before midnight but he wasn't able to find anything on the computer. I wonder if H intended this partly so the shipments will arrive with the new price tags. My SA told me that he is expecting more shipments later this week. Talk about timing !! :graucho::graucho:

Hmmmm...... the PM Picotin went up to $2375 around noon PST. It was still the old price $2200 this morning. Regardlessly, Bags are new price now in the US sit.

I wanted a MM Picotin in orange. My SA told me there was only 1 available but "on hold". I was thinking if some store are holding inventory till the price increased. Anyhow, need to pay the new price for my bags now.

I checked around 10:00 PST and it was still $2200 but after reading your mail went to check and found the new price.

I think you're correct that they are holding it intentionally for the price increase so they can boost their revenues and help to reach their monthly goals faster. Why put all the inventory out before the price increase when they can get more dollars later ?? They also know that TPFers are good at intelligence. While I kept asking my local store about the info of price increase, all the SAs pretend that they have no idea about the scope and dates. They makes me really upset 'cos there is no reason for them to play such games.

They take away price tags of existing bags and charges the new price. I bought an Atlas the day of their price increase last year and I asked if they could honor the old price, they told me no and said that they were supposed to take the old price tags out.
