I mailed by store on this, however did not get a reply. So either I ended up in the spam folder or my question was too ridiculous ... Anyway, I will be there at the public sale and would enjoy company while waiting .... My current plan is to queue on Wedsnesday early morning.

i was there in January, you could keep your bag and wallet provided it was small; if not there was a clockroom but the organisation was really smooth
Just avoid wearing any H items, if you do you will have to fill in a form

So, I guess not many of us are here. Queuing before the sale was very orderly and it did not seem as CRO wieder. However.... there is a timelimit being enforced inside the sale. The first batch of people had time to Shop until 11.30, which meant in my case: entry at about 9.30, Queuing in the jewelry line until 10.40, being reminded that my time is over before I had seen half of what I requested, Queuing at 90 cm scarves, making a scarf selection basically looking for a specific Design and finding 2 nice Design by accident while waiting, but basically not browsing the selection, being reminded here again (I always quality check the scarves before purcase) and off to the cashier where I will probably spend at least another hour.....
I havent even seen half of the selection.

I wish I were a VIP... I know that was yesterday as I passed by Palais de Congres. They probably got the best stuff, however there were still some nice finds to be made. Especially jewelry was like finding the needle in the haystack as for one model, all diese, colors and Hardware were in Box

Yes last year I had a similar experience where I wasted a lot of time queuing as I didn't realize I'd be kicked out.

A few tips: head to RTW and shoes first as less or no queues;
Don't take a bag as the colour of the strings is what they are marking your entrance group by - CGSM, jewelry and exotic shoes will be sent to the register for you anyway l.
