Checked the store out today for the first time, they had some mosaique pieces in gold which I loved and asked to ship out, but they seemed to have trouble with their network for maybe 10-15 mins. Tried a few of their point of sales from the front to the back, and finally was able to print out the receipt. Felt like I should have just asked them to “phone order” it while I was in store so I can just pay via their link, but I didn’t mind.
I asked about box leather Bastia or Calvis and the advisor checked, but only saw epsom. Really wanted a first box piece, so the hunt is on! I really wish that I bought the box Bastia or Calvi online earlier this year when it was on H.com.
Oh! I saw that they had a “back pocket” for the Birkin in size 30 in Gold (think it was in Swift) that I thought was cute for back pocket storage lol. Though they didn’t have one for my 25 cm.
One of their advisors had asked which boutique I got my Birkin 25 from and had let me know that it’s really hard to get one from there. Which I thought, isn’t that typical for all boutiques? The folks were so nice and I liked chatting with them. They definitely are warm and friendly asking folks who were browsing if they’ve been helped already.
I feel that this layout and square footage is definitely bigger than San Diego’s boutique and I really like the non-square/rectangle layout. I think San Francisco is a little intimidating due to the multiple floors, but really SF is bigger and I consider Palo Alto and San Diego to be a “comfortable” or “cozy” store.
