Long time follower, first time posting!!!

I came across a video reviewing the Galop Hermes ring in very small model (Ring in rose gold set with 1 diamond, picture attached) which I'm unable to find (with diligent stalking) on the US Hermes website, but does seem to be offered consistently in some European countries.

Other than flying to said country and buying it overseas .... is it possible for an SA to order it for you and have it delivered in store or home? Can someone share their experience, if this is possible? Do they ask for a deposit or you have to pay in full? Worse case, if I try it and not a fan, any repercussions?

Thanks!!
The store can special order jewelry if it’s not available. You give them a deposit and they make it for you in Paris. I did it for a pair of earrings that were from a few years ago that I really wanted. You should speak to your SA about it.

Hi everyone!! I've mostly shopped at Hermes either abroad or in cities I've gone to for vacation and figured it's time to establish a relationship with an SA at home for those all too coveted leathers lol

I've read this thread and the SF one several pages back and wanted to ask everyone their opinion on their preferred store to shop at/which store I should focus on??

Thanks in advance!! <3

I didn't have a good experience at the Palo Alto boutique (SA didn't seem interested to help me despite me having an appointment with them) so I switched and went to SF. I've had a much better experience in SF vs. Palo Alto. SF is also considered a flagship store, so theoretically the stock would be better there than PA.

Do you live closer to one versus the other?

I started in Palo Alto and had a nice SA but later felt he wasn’t really advocating for me so switched to SF and have had a much better experience. Plus SF is bigger and sells more things, including beauty.

I started at PA, didn’t click w the SA, tried an SA in SF, didn’t click w her either even though she had rave reviews, and found myself back at PA w a great new SA that I visit regularly bc my office is close by. id choose based on whichever is most convenient to you as you will naturally visit more often. Also PA has easy free parking right outside H, and feels safer imo.

The stock in San Francisco is not better or worse than Palo Alto. Most of the top floor in SF is furniture. San Francisco has more clients and more employees all competing for the same bags so it’s about the same.
The PA SA’s are great IMO but they are like the popular kids in school. They aren’t going to hook you up just because you ask. You have to work to get in with the “in crowd” but once you are there they will take good care of you.

SF also has a lot of violent crime and aggressive pan handling. The police have cracked down somewhat after the pandemic but it’s still a big problem there. I used to shop between both stores but these days I’m mostly a PA gal unless I can get hubby to drive me on his days off.
