Hey guys, hope you all had a great Christmas! Looking for some advice on getting a mini Roulis at the PA store. I've never shopped at a Hermes boutique before but heard stories about how Roulis can be difficult to get. I didn't spend anything on myself during Christmas, my birthday is coming up and I also got a promotion so I thought it's the perfect chance to start searching for a mini Roulis. Should I go into the store and ask about a min Roulis or should I start with something else first and see? Thanks!

I wasn't looking for Roulis in particular, but my SA at this store mentioned Roulis has become difficult to get in recent months. I think there is one available on H.com today (which rarely happens lately) and you could as well try your luck at the store. If you really have your mind set on a particular color then I would say make some small purchases, and build a relationship.

Oh goodness, yes. I have been looking for a mini roulis for a few months now. My home store is PA and my SA kept telling me she hasn't seen one in a long while, except for a pink evercolor one (think rose azalee), which I passed because, not a pink person. I saw a couple of mini roulis in two different trips to Vegas (one was in the Bellagio store - Vert Verone PHW Evercolor, and another was in the Wynn store - gold GHW Evercolor). I declined both because I was looking for something from the grey / black / blue color families.

I kept hearing the same thing, that Roulis and mini Roulis have been really hard to come by of late. I find it surprising, because I have a Roulis that I bought in late 2017 (albeit in SF), and back then I had the pick of the litter.... Best of luck @victoria0217 and congrats on your promo.

A few weeks ago my SA asked me where I got my Constance mini and how I managed to score one. She went on to say that I was really lucky (hinting that she hasn't seen any lately at the store). I don't really know why stock seems to be really low at this point. Any ideas?
I feel like Constance was readily available last year, especially in early part of 2018 so maybe that's why supply is lower this year to balance it out?

Yes - I have, and a couple of other friends as well... I didn't take my offer but one of my friends did. mind you this was last summer, and have not heard anything since.

Thanks for responding. I’ve been told that the store has to compete with SF store and Vegas stores and rarely get Constances. I’m so sad coz this is my home store.

The current stock level is no way near any Vegas store, I feel. In fact, not just the bags, I went in to get some H deco plates and there were only 2 at the store.

Hi,
I saw a mini roulis in black phw in evercolor leather at the SF Hermes store today. It was on display and my SA has me try on. You can probably get it if you are willing to drive to SF.

Thanks  Do you mind sharing how much *purchase history* you have to have before they offer a Constance at SFO store?
That's a tricky one. I don't purchase a lot, but I fly out often, more domestic but at least 4-5 international trips a year. All of my domestic flights are United, i.e., Terminal 3, adjacent to the Terminal G of International. Every time I fly out / in I always try to make it to the airport store.
Granted I can't buy anything if I'm just flying domestic, but I at least get to browse and then ask them to put items on hold. It's never large purchases because I always bring carry ons whenever I travel internationally, so I can't buy anything that don't fit in my carry on, so it's only things like shoes, silks, some RTWs and in one occasion a small rose gold bracelet.
IMHO I don't think it's so much the $ value as it is the 'relationship' you build with the workers. They're all really lovely and willing to work with you (they would hold stuff for me for weeks because I have to time my purchase with my international trips). The good thing is, you get to save on tax so yay! DM me if you need more info.
