I have also asked about the wish of the Kelly 28 I made one year ago.
They told me that they are "ordering the wishes" twice a year (january and july), and then there is a wait of 6-12 months for the production.
So my wish will probably arrive in spring 2025.
I was told it was February and November for the 2 batches of orders. I really really hope mine will come towards April as I’ve been waiting since Nov 2021!

May I asked which bag have you ordered?

Is it really true that it is only one wish per person? This means only one quota bag every 2-3 years...

And will the bag come faster, when I spend more? I'm not sure if this works with the wishlist system from the boutique.

A kelly 25 in dark blue color. They say that a black, gold or etoupe bag should arrive faster. And yes only one wish per person so if you only want one bag, that's fine but if you want at least one of each (B/K/C), this system is not great unfortunately. Constance is also a quota bag there. I don't know about big spending as this is clearly not my case lol

What a great choice!
At the beginning I also wanted a Kelly 25, but they "pushed" me to the 28, because the 25 is apparently very small (I never saw one in real life) and the 28 would be the perfect size for my first quota bag.
But I'm still not sure...
Do you already have a Kelly or will it be your first bag?

I did also see that the Kelly 25 seemed small. I'm really not a fan of having to wait every 3 years for a bag. Also my husband was told last November that they changed the system a bit and now if you want to place a wish you may get refused if you dont have a spending purchase. If you still place an order, you'll wait at least 2 years but could be much longer if you're not a regular client.

Thank you ! Yes it will be my first quota bag. I've never see or try one either, but I don't carry much so I think the 25 will be perfect. When I place my wish, the SA also said that 25 are harder to get but as I really wanted that size, she didn't push me to get a 28.

I don't know about this new system but it seems that they are making it harder and harder to get a bag :confused1:

I think I will try the two sizes on, in a bigger Hermes or in a second hand, and then I will maybe change the wish.
It's a pity that they don't have exposition models to try on.

I'm also not a "big" spender, here and there I buy cashmere shawls or silver jewerly.

Hi ladies, do you know if they’d take your wish if you live in surrounding EU countries such boardering areas of France and Germany?

Also, good luck with all your quota bags. I personally have a Kelly 25 retourne and it’s perfect for me as I’m petite. It doesn’t not hold much more than phone, and a few small items but it’s enough for a short trip or more formal settings. If you want to hold a small plastic water bottle, which is the case when I go shopping, I prefer a Birkin 25. Kelly 28 is similar in how much it can hold to B25. Hope this helps.

Hi, i’m afraid wishes in Lux are for residents only. At least that’s what my husband and I were told. You could try Frankfurt though I tried to place a wish there and was told it’s for German residents only.
Thanks for the clarifications on the size! I know Kelly sellier holds less due to the sturdy structure. Luckily I never carry much with me but I’m rather tall so I think the size will be perfect !
