My SA promised me a KP in 2018 and throughout 2018 and 2019 strung me along and I bought stuff. During the Pandemic, I’ve stopped going to the store. The one time I went, it was a strange and unpleasant experience. I resigned to myself that I’m not getting the bag.

When I emailed my current SA about a non-quota bag, she did not return my email for three weeks. I’ve been going to the DC store for over 30 years, but since J***n took over as SM, it’s been non-stop games.

I’ll buy from the website and use the DC store for returns. Life’s too short for this store’s baloney.

I refuse to pay the current mark up in the reseller market too.
It’s honestly terrible when you encounter a bad Sa and most are not great I have found. I dunno if it’s the culture but I’ve found most to be really unresponsive even when they say they will be. It took me a long time to find my current Sa and even he has moods ‍♀️

Agree. I started my H journey in May 2019. I asked for a KP in Nov 2019 and within weeks got offered my first KP in swift leather in Anemone ghw (but I think I got lucky that time as it was probably reserved for someone else who refused it as my SA emailed me late in the day at around 5pm telling me a KP was available and it wasn't my color preference (all my bags are in dark colors)). Although I am not a fan of Anemone, I took it anyway as KPs are so difficult to come by. And I got my 2nd KP in swift noir ghw a few weeks ago. So I think KPs aren't impossible to get but definitely difficult to get and it depends on the relationship with your SA.

I didn't know they are not producing in espom leather ...... I really want one in espom leather!
I got a KP as a walk-in, mine was noir swift with ghw. my spending ratio on the spot was 1:1 but I was happy with the colour and hardware
How do you like your KP in swift? I have no experience with swift. I read it’s kind of delicate, which kinds of worries me as I am very casual with my bags. Although swift is supposed to take colors beautifull. Do you find swift in KP workable bc it’s a clutch? Does KP come in other leather right now? TIA!

I would prefer my KP in Epsom after using swift, it’s too soft and delicate for me

Agree with Summerof89. I would prefer it in espom but my SA doesn't recommend waiting as KPs are difficult to come by. She said since it isn't a quota bag, if one in espom comes in with at least 1-2 months in between say Jan or Feb (I got my swift one just last month in Dec), she should still be able to offer that to me.

Swift is soft but good thing about it is it seems to be quite scratch resistant. I scratched my Anemone one with my finger nails when I first took it out of the dust bag and thought "Oh great, I haven't even carried it outside yet and it already has an obvious scratch." But to my pleasant surprise, I didn't even see any scratches at all!

Thanks for your reply :flowers: It’s comforting to hear it’s sufficientLy scratch resistant

Hello,
I’m fairly new to Hermes so please forgive if this is common knowledge. I’m on the list for a Kelly 28 and Birkin 25 but I’ve started to quite like the Kelly Pouchette. Are they hard to obtain as well? Should I switch my preference to a Kelly Pouchette? To speed the process up, I think I’m somewhat close to getting a Kelly bag, I have been offered a 28 but it was not a colour I’d purchase.
Any feedback is appreciated!

YMMV, but my SA said it would be easier for me to get mini kelly sellier than a KP, this was last week and I've purchased several quota bags but have only shopped at my store for about a year. Also told me it was easier to get a pink B instead of a kelly cut also. I believe KP is in very low production as H is prioritizing other bags to assist meeting their sales goals. My spend monthly on non-BKC is high relatively speaking so it is definitely not an issue of $.

The Kelly Pouchette is far harder to be offered than the ones you have mentioned IMO. I've been a loyal client for many years and have acquired 3 Birkin 30s and a Kelly 28, all in my wishlist colors, in addition to a recent Kelly Cut. From what I know, the Kelly Cut is difficult to get and the Pouchette even harder than that. I'm sure the ladies/gentlemen on this forum can offer more accurate advice.

In my opinion for your first B/K you should get a bag that you will use at a regular base and something to complement your wardrobe.

The mini bags are nice and all but let's be honest they are not very versatile nor can be used casually. It's nice to have one in the collection after you bought your main bags.

In the end get the bag that you want the most not the hardest to get unless you are planning to buy 1 bag from Hermes for the rest of your life.

agree with others, stick with your K28 and B25, not necessarily bc KP is harder to get, but rather you will get more use out of K28 and B25 than KP. KP is a clutch, not a daily bag.
