I like to build my relationship in my hometown. My estimate would be the equivalent to a B/K. Once reached, it took approx 2-3 months before I got my B30 in blk with ghw; within that time I was offered a variety of B/C/K bags in different colours.
Thank you so much for your input! Yes, I would preferably like to build my relationship in my hometown as well but I was just concerned about the spending limit and availability in Vancouver. I'm happy to hear that it was 2-3 months for a black B30, it sounds perfectly reasonable, so I can put my mind at ease and shop here! Thank you again :)

It really depends on inventory of these quota bags and your SA. I know some who have spent thousands and still waiting more than a year in Vancouver. In Bellvue, we received an offer as a walk-in without a purchase history. I would say it’s much easier to get a bag from Bellevue because their inventory is much larger.

Yes, I did hear that inventory was much better at Bellevue. Maybe I will have to visit both stores to get a feel for both places. May I ask if the offer was recent and which bag/colour it was?

The offer in Bellvue was in the summer 2017 and we were offered a Birkin 35 or 40, our choice. Don’t know the colour because we were not interested. I already have a Birkin 25 and my husband didn’t want one for himself so we thanked them for the offer but kindly declined.

I agree with cherie05 that Bellevue has much more inventory than Vancouver. Many Vancouverites buy their bags in Bellevue. However, the exchange rate is pretty high and you'll get taxed when crossing the border.

I would like to know how much time for getting a K or B from Vancouver store? Also is it a 1:1 spending? Thank you!

One of the SA's told me this week that it's around 1:1 spending in homeware, jewelry, watches, clothes, and shoes. After she told me, I've decided to buy K/B in the States or Europe and pay less than $2K in taxes when crossing the border.

Woohoo, just in: Vancouver sale starting on May 3 to 6th! (Womens and mens RTW, shoes, hats, gloves)

It's gonna be a huge gong show; the last one certainly was, and at that one, unless you were one of the first 30-40 ppl allowed through, it was picked over quite quickly unless you are looking for shoes in a larger sz.
