All the SA at Vancouver store are great! Customer service and equal treatment is trained by their Store Director. It's also nice to stop at the airport store as you may find some unexpected goodies. It's a franchise store owned by global duty free so the inventory may be different. Last time I stopped by the airport store, although a small shop, they had charms that the Vancouver store did not have so may be worth a visit if you have time.

@hannahsophia: for the majority of the US departure flights, they have a US terminal at YVR, which may give you access to Hermes store. I vaguely recall i was only able to stop by Hermes store for non-US international flight. You might want to check with YVR on it. Also, the hassel of Seattle bound flight may not be worth the trouble. Its only 3 hr drive from Vancouver and considering security clearance and having to be at the airport 2 hrs prior to departure, it may take longer via air. As for Hermes Vancouver SA's, I concur with the other TPFers. Hermes Vancouver staff are consumate professionals. Any of them would be great. Damian, Paul, Chris, Carolyn, and Sookae are long-term SA's. PM me if you have any questions.

Thank you both!! This has been very helpful!

I know this is probably too early to ask but does anyone know when the fall sale would take place this year?
I saw from other threads that some US stores might be having sales in October. I combed through this thread and it seems like the sale for last year took place in Noverner.

@hannahsophia Just adding on to this, confirming that the YVR international terminal Hermes is not accessible for US departures...except: flights with refuel stopovers, and/or international origins such as Cathay Pacific flight 888 which originates in HKG, stops in Vancouver, then continues on to JFK. The single legs from YVR-US airports through international terminal is available to be booked alone also

Vancouver sale started today! The lineup wasn't that bad but initially they only allowed ten or so ppl in at a time, so by the time I got in, the sale was in full swing and many shoppers had sky high stacks of shoes/boots. Lots of RTW for both men and women, belts (spotted a RC medor) gloves and hats. There was also a small selection of cotton scarves and pareos as well as a selection of home & housewares inc blankets, beach towels and throws. Much too crowded to try anything on and the queue to pay was at least an hour. Crowd has probably died down by now but don't know what 's left of the inventory for the weekend. If you are a lds sz 38/39/40 shoe or boot, it would be worthwhile to take a look. All merch was generally 50% off.

Hello, I'm at the point where I'm looking to build a relationship with Hermes, but since the Vancouver luxury market has notoriously low inventory with tons of high value clients, I was wondering if it was still worthwhile building up history with the Vancouver store, or if I should just drive over to the Bellevue store and make that my home store instead. Has anyone been offered a B in the last year? How much would you say you had to spend? 10k? 20k+?And once you've reached that point, how long of a wait was it to receive your bag? Any SA recommendations? Thank you in advance!

I like to build my relationship in my hometown. My estimate would be the equivalent to a B/K. Once reached, it took approx 2-3 months before I got my B30 in blk with ghw; within that time I was offered a variety of B/C/K bags in different colours.
