So I finally made my way down to the store!! There was this Asian guy who was just standing there.. I assume he's not a sales person but more like a security guard or something cuz he had to get this tall Caucasian man to help me. This second man wasn't really nice but not rude either. He didn't seem interested in helping me (this was the treatment I was afraid of, that's why I never bother to step foot in the store in the first place). I actually thought to myself that I wasn't going to purchase anything today if I was stuck with him. Well anyway he ended up getting an Asian lady to help who was really nice, and showed me an Evelyne bag in a colour that I was looking for. I guess he was in charge of the scarves or something cuz he was busy folding them and I guess folding scarves is more important than helping a customer.

So at the end, I bought the Evelyne. They didn't have anything else I wanted :( like the clic in the colour I want or any wallets. Oh well! All in all it was an okay experience. whew!

Why is it necessary to mention someone's race?? I don't see how it has anything to do with the story and frankly, it just perpetuates stereotypes.

Congrats on your first Evelyn! My I know what color you bought? I'm still waiting for the color I want for the Evelyn. Not sure if I will ever get a call from them.

Has anyone being offered constance/elan bags (ANY SIZE) in the Vancouver Boutique?
I have been dying for this bag! I told my SA that I really want it but I was offered a 30B instead.

I was thinking the same thing. It is completely unnecessary to mention their race. It just makes it sound like you are being a bit racist IMO...

Yes, and thats such a shame. The interesting part is that though I am not quite sure what Simons' position is, he is the sweetest person ever. He is not a sales person and as such folds, and helps when purchases are rung through. He also doubles as security which is why he is unable to help with actual sales.

I would simply suggest that, it helps to be pleasant to everyone and simply not signal out only one sales person as the target person to befriend. :flowers:

Who knows if we're talking about the same man, but after he handed me over to another sales person, he ended up helping another couple who came in after me. And no, he wasn't the only sales person left because there was another sales lady available.

I am only saying, it really doesn't hurt anyone to just say hello. It's not that difficult.

Has anyone been to the H sale today in Vancouver? There were only big sizes of RTW and shoes by the time I got there. Nice boots, though. Lots of clothing from previous season. Tons of hats and gloves, too.
