I would just go and see who you click with. Everything is hard to get but also depends on color and leather so I’d ask for what you want but be prepared for a significant spend and a significant wait.

Does anyone know how frequently they do the "display only sale"? I would have loved to pick a GP for daily usage
They actually filled the bag with new ones for sale when someone bought a display. When i was there the mini jyspiere was new white and bolide was gold. There was also a few lindy 26 in orange.

Same here! They did it a couple weeks or so ago, and I tried on a Mini Jypsiere, but in Lime. A really great bag without prespend or anything, but I could prefer a more neutral colour. What did you pass on?

So... I just checked the date on my photos of when I went in and they had like 6+ bags on display but available for purchase, along with that MJ in Lime I tried. It was May 15th. I'm guessing that the Toronto boutique is doing this no "for display only" bags thing every 2-4 weeks. In 2023, I recall they only did it a few times a year! The SA that showed me the Lime MJ told me that the last time that they did this was in Dec 2023, so I'm not sure if this trend will continue or its just for the month of May...Does anyone know how frequently they do the "display only sale"? I suspect from my travels that for non-quota bags this is what h would like to do if demand isn’t too high. In fact over the past few years other h stores not in Canada would sell a number of different type of non-quota bags to walkins.
The only thing i remember about that new white mj was it had gold hardware. Initially i wanted one when it first came out but found it too small.
I forgot to mention there was also a kelly messenger in gold and gold eveyln 29 also for sale when i was there.
Yes, I agree with you on that. I've scored a non quota bag in Asia as a walk in client during last summer. I guess H Toronto doesn't always have sufficient stock/inventory for offering non quota bags to all walk ins that ask for them. Especially considering that we barely have enough stock/inventory for our Toronto client base, as a lot of clients didn't receive any offers of non quota or quota in 2023. Hopefully our boutique can slightly shift their budget towards bags/leather to make it a little bit easier to score bags.
I believe the Kelly Messenger you're talking about is this one in size 32. I think it's Fauve in Barenia Faubourg. Saw it a month or so ago with a "for display only" sign lol

I have scored and offered a lot of non-quota bags abroad in the past few years in asia, europe and us. I don’t think its a budget thing bc the amount of bags that can be ordered depends on the country/store spend. I think we are finally getting back to normal in the store(Toronto) where it was possible in the past to get non-quota as a walk in.
In regard to the kelly messenger I don’t think it was the same one. The one Saturday was smaller(maybe 27), different color and leather didn’t appear to be barenia based on a friend trying it.
That’s good to know. I might try and score a couple bags on vacation trips elsewhere, as I might be maxed out on my bag limits here in Canada 🥲🥲🥲. Not sure tho, SA is always so mysterious when it comes to this topic of limits lol.

Interesting! I thought that they only asked for ID for your first bag, and then its over since they know you? But I guess times have changed?
