A few days ago, I dropped by Hermes Manila to check my status on the waitlist. I was happily informed that a Prune Birkin was not purchased by the prospective buyer and may still be available in Manila. The SA advised that he will inform me if it was still available. Anyway, the following day, Tuesday, March 9, I texted him but he was very busy because of the event and will just advise soon (no date given). I didn't want to annoy him with more text inquiries nor phone call follow ups so I just texted today, Saturday. Huhuhuhu, he said it was sold at an HSBC Premier event last night.
This should have been my 1st Hermes.
If he advised me earlier, I would have rushed to the store and paid for it. Well, I understand that these guys have rules to follow and I just told myself that the store could have reserved it for the HSBC event.
But, can anyone advise me it it's true that a store has a quota on selling only 50 bags (Birkin probably) per year? How would I know if my name is on the order list? I noted on my information card there that I'd want a Birkin 35 in Blue Jean and one in any Rouge shade.
Please Hermes Manila girls, I'm scared of getting thru resellers. Kindly give some advise. Thanks

Ms. Priestly and Ms. Rox_rocks has a lot of contact when it comes to re-sellers. Maybe you can PM her and she will gladly help you out.

But it's a bit expensive compared to the store... Usually re-sellers sell them a bit more talaga 'coz there is no waiting list.
