Hi all! I’m ready (been ready haha) to start my Hermès obsession, but I’m trying to be strategic about it. On my list are a couple belts, scarves, shoes (I love the oran’s but need to try them on), and maybe a blanket. And of course the ultimate goal of getting a birkin (probably a 35, but maybe 30?). I’m super loyal to my SA at any brand, but I don’t have an unlimited budget so I won’t be a huge spender like some of you lucky ladies are. At my local store (Manhasset) I was pretty much told I won’t ever be offered a birkin, so I don’t want to buy the other items there either. Pre COVID I was in the city all of the time, but now I try to avoid it at all cost. DH and I might be going to visit friends in Greenwich and was thinking this could be an opportunity to check out the boutique. What are the chances I would be offered a birkin there?

No chance this year. In the first few months of 2022? Who knows. 35cm has a shot I’d say if you hit it off with someone.

It's an Hermes owned location. I have a relationship there, but also have a relationship with the NY Madison Avenue store because they tend to have more inventory.

Me again! Our Greenwich trip kept getting postponed, but should be coming up in a few weeks. Anyone that’s been lately-how are my chances looking to get a b35? Also, how is their general stock? TIA!

It’s a quiet boutique so I don’t think making an appointment will make much difference. When we went last, they still have travel bags where normal handbags would be so an appointment wouldn’t change low stock. Could never hurt to stop in as it’s a great boutique and see whether you hit it off with an SA and maybe they just received a shipment, thus the “slim” and not “impossible”

Is greenwhich no longer appointment only? I’m looking at sandals and will be in town, but no option to make an appointment online…thanks
