Just back from hermes shanghai flagship. They have 2 birkin and 1 kelly on display all in size 35.

I was looking size 25-30 in croco. They said they have 1 but its someone elses booking.
And they dont have any availanle. So I ask for the classic in the small size,they asks what color I want. But i ask what color they have. Seems they have a few inside.

I make a pre order for the exotic too. This is going to be my first exotic. Will update you in case they really made made it.

But the hermes in shanghai was really nice. I asked the price and they told me. Seems the price is almost the same with EU.

The fauborg was offering me the b 25 croco black in diamond. I said thats too much for me now. And they told me to take out the diamonds if I dont want the diamond. Lol.

price is almost the same as EU? That's surprising - I thought they should be more expensive than EU!

and I'm surprised they have 35's on the shelf!!

lol they told you to take out the diamonds yourself? Quite presumptous of them... they probably just want you to purchase it!

i think you must make some wrong conversion there, it's NO WAY China's price is similar to EU in any leather or specification, and I visit SH maison shop very often and i know they have quite a few pieces in stock but you need to be spend before getting offered

Price is somewhat similar to EU, whats different is they dont have tax refund for all crocodile and exotic items, including jewelries and anything with diamond.

Only 1 leather goods is good to buy for 1 person. and for all leather goods, even wallet you need to have minimum spending. which is very stupid.

I am forced to buy their gold watch for me to get their croco, Id never imagine Id buy a hermes watch lol. I just think I doesnt want to buy things that has no value, esp clothes and scarfs.

It was expensive because I am forced to buy alot of junk, esp the scarfs is the compulsary item. Worst you cant combine it with male items, even male scarfs.

that's very interesting, if you don't mind to share how much is the Croc birkin they being offered to you?
from my experience I saw a croc shiny kelly cut on display and available for purchase at RMB 197800 (roughly euro 25500 as of today rate), which compares to EU price of Euro 16700, i think that's quite a difference

fuuhh, may be thats why I failed in maths when I was in school.

well I think, Its always better to buy something a little bit more expensive than buying from second hand store that Gods know if that thing is real or not.

Chinese Duty free store doesn't have Hermes stores, the only airport one is at SH domestic terminal, hence no duty free items.
BJ have several H stores, usually have good inventory, but with the recent reduction in prices I doubt there will be anything interesting left. Reminder Mainland China prices are higher compare to US.

Thank you for the information! I didn’t have time to check out the BJ stores, but I thought there was a duty free H in the international terminal 2?
