My wish❤️! Was also offered a B in Paris a month ago . But I didn’t love it. Glad I didn’t get it “just to get one”, new bag is everything I wanted ❤️ an absolute dream! Congrats on your K32! I saw your other post! Did you go to the client event? I didn’t get invited though I’ve been with H for some time and got multiple bags … just curious what it ended up being !:biggrin:

I have to admit that I hardly carry them in Ams. Just don’t always feel safe to do so… whereas in Paris I take my B’s everywhere LOL

This… I only feel ‘safe’ going to the PC or Bijenkorf or to a lunch/high tea in certain places. I went to Dusseldorf this weekend and wore my B the whole time. No issues at all. Saw multiple ladies rocking theirs.

Same goes for the Middle East.

Ah that is very fast! Congrats! Is it within 4 months of your wish? I did go to the client event. Not very special. Their make up specialist came from France to promote the new line. Not much and it was just a private moment with the specialist. It was stormy that day, very slow and many cancellations so all the SA's came to chat and we shared some good laughter. I got to checked if some of the items I would like where available but nothing and I change my wishlist. I know this might not help me with getting an offer soon but I don't mind. December is already expensive and I'll be going to Paris in January again. :angel:

I never see a B or K in Amsterdam unless it is in the boutique worn by other customers. Or maybe it's that I choose not to visit Amsterdam when I don't have to be there. My main goal to visit Amsterdam is when I go shopping at the boutiques.

Yes less than 4 months! I actually got a wish bag before within 3 weeks 🤣!!! So it’s possible haha! Did you change your wish to a different bag? Have you scored a wish bag in Amsterdam Before? Or will this be the first ? And yes, Paris is always a good idea :biggrin: ! Do you think you will be able to see the SA who helped you with your K?

Oh wow. I hope we have the same SA. :angel:. Yes I changed it to a B. Initially I wished for a K28 but got the 32 in the same colour family as I'd wished for. So I cheekily asked to change my wish into a B. The manager said it was no problem and even added some extra options. No wish bag yet. This will be my first but I need to keep in mind that I've just been shopping at the PC locations since June.
Do hope to reconnect with her. I've gotten the contact details and will reach out to her next month. But if she's not available I'll another contact.

Are you going to try for another wish?

How are you loving the K32? Does feel too big? Are you able to rock it crossbody?

So far I’ve been a B girl, but I’m considering going for a K next year :graucho:…
Although I’m hearing it’s hard to close… but the strap makes me want to venture to a K.


Btw have you tried the make up line? I’ve recently splurged on some lipsticks… even the packaging feels so luxe. Hermes just doesn’t go wrong ever !!!

Ah thank you! I love the K32. I always have so much I carry with me. You could ask to try on different sizes before deciding on the size? I think I can do it crossbody but haven’t done that. 😅 I tend to wear it in the crook of my arms. I have no problem with the closing. Maybe because it is a retourne in Togo leather and not a Sellier? My first Hermes bag was a Birkin that is why I opted for a Kelly. I love both. Maybe I’ll go for a smaller Kelly next. 🙈

I’ve their make up line. Love the previous limited collection lipstick in Rose Beige. So I got two of those. I really like that their blushes, highlighter and other items are refillables. The make up consultant told me she’ll need to size up her counter for all the new products that are in the pipe line. But there isn’t much space at the PC location and the lightning is awful.

Btw what colour, leather and size B did you get? It seems like they are trying to fulfill a lot of wishes lately. I heard so many people around me go in to collect their wish in Amsterdam.

Hi all! I'm new to hermes. But I really want to get my hands on a Birkin Gold. Please give me recommendations on what I need to do. I don't know anything about this matter. I live in Amsterdam. I’m ready to immediately spend half the price of the bag and can wait. Should I go to Paris or do it in Amsterdam? How long does it take to wait for a bag in Amsterdam? In Paris, do you need any kind of pre-registration? What should I do better? I will be very grateful for any advice and explanation of how it works🙌🏻❤️

Hoii, there is a sticky about how to get a quota bag. Start there. You can go in and ask for a wishlist appointment but unless your a pegasus unicorn with a lot of luck, I think you need to build a purchase history.

Check the threads about maintaining a relationship with your SA because that is important. After like the 2nd visit make your intentions clear about your desired birkin.

If you however get a wishlist app it could take up to a year without a guarantee. They do their best but sometimes offer you something along those lines.

You could try Paris but online with a lottery appointment. Going there will be more difficult. Check the Paris thread.

If your heart is set on the Birkin Gold and you want this bag quite quickly maybe go resale. It will cost you more but less time. Good luck

hey all :)

i live in a country that has no hermes. i travel very often and even lived for a long period of time in italy. i did buy there often, but mostly at the airport (not counted in the hermes profile) and only one time in the actual boutique - for financial reasons (i fly often outside europe and therefore it is 22% off at hermes in rome's airport). i am supposed to arrive in amsterdam in the end of may this year for a few days, and would really like to score a picotin in either tan, orange, or any green/blue. i prefer the 22 version but wouldn't decline the 18.

do you think i can score it in the store although i am a tourist in amsterdam (yet with hermes profile in europe in general)? i would be very grateful to hear some of your tips or recommendations on the matter! is picotin 22/18 a bag that is usually in stock? which store should i visit? any strategic in mind aside from shopping for a pair of shoes/any sort of makeup/etc before asking about picotin?

i was also thinking of keeping it smooth and try the amsterdam airport hermes when i fly home, but it may be too risky..in rome they never have picotin, they alway offer me other non-quotas but i am not interested in those, so i am "worried" they (again) won't have it.

Hi!

I hope you will enjoy your trip to Amsterdam. There are 2 shops. One is in Bijenkorf (Harrods Lite version) and the other in the famous designer street P.C. hooftstraat.

Regarding stock, the P.C. hooftstraat is bigger but therefore gets a little more foot traffic in my opinion. A lot of tourists go there and ask for bags (immediately after coming in). They never succeed (from what I witness)

On the other hand. I saw a tourist get a Herbag in the Bijenkorf Hermes but they asked after committing to other things just as RTW and shoes. Their spending ratio was about 2:1 before asking for the Herbag.

This is all i know. I do not think a pair of shoes and makeup is gonna cut is for a Picotin bit you always try. Your spending history is linked to the store so the any spending in Europe will not help.

I hope you will get lucky. Regarding the Airport: IDK about their inventory but you have to spend around 1:1 for a non quota.
