B/K in Amsterdam is for locals only. Other bags like Picotin, Eve, Jypsiere, Toolbox is possible tho. Price is same in whole EU. I would just take train to Paris if u have enough time. Its just 3,5 hrs away. That's yr best bet in Europe to score a B/K! Good luck!

Been to ams last year and this year to try for B/K. Sucessfully got 1 kelly last year but only after buying a kelly rose gold bracelet with diamonds they offered a birkin in the same colour but i 'had' to buy a croc bearn which was 4900eur more.
This year, no luck. Nothing to buy even if i wanted to. The store in de bijenkorf is under renovation till august and for some reason the stock is terrible too

I would try, personally. You're there and it's not impossible to get B/K as a walk-in. I've had things sent to Paris by the Amsterdam stores as they often have SLGs Paris does not have (Barenia seems to be popular in the Netherlands....).
Given that you only have a day in Paris, why not? It's also a nice break from work

True, I am in Amsterdam for a week. Tuesday through Friday night. I have never gone into a Hermes store and asked for a B / K bag. Kinda nervous, sounds funny I know.

I mapped both Hermes stores to travel to in Amsterdam! Ones 7 minutes walking and ones 8 minutes by car! I shall report back to all when I get there! Kinda exciting adventure but hopefully I shall conquer the B/K [emoji13][emoji39]
If I was to get a bag if lucky enough in Amsterdam, how would the Vat work? I will be going to Paris after. Do I need to claim leaving the Amsterdam airport?
On another note Hermes Festival des Mestier will be in Amsterdam from April 1-10. If u happen to be in the city by then would be interesting to see as well!
So many tourists going to Amsterdam stores in the last couple years. Last time I was there, there was not even any ready to wear to buy. The racks and shelves were almost empty!
Awwww too bad! Oh maybe you will see the Kings Day on April 27?! Not sure if H will be open that day.
