They take cash, just that if you spend more than 10,000 USD you will have to fill out forms.I’m travelling to hawaii soon and planning on doing some shopping. Does anyone know if they accept cash (USD)? Or only credit/debit?
Oh!! I didn’t realize you have to fill out forms! My SA just said cash up to 10kThey take cash, just that if you spend more than 10,000 USD you will have to fill out forms.
Yes due to anti money laundering laws in the US any cash over 10k needs to be documented. Much easier just to use a card or under 10k in cash.Oh!! I didn’t realize you have to fill out forms! My SA just said cash up to 10kgood to know!
Hermes production shuts down for the month of Aug, but theres probably bags in the back if they deem you worthy.Hi all,
I know the stock level still seems low at most of the US stores. Is it still true that August tend to be the lowest even at the Waikiki store? I will be visiting end of August and not sure if the chance of getting a qb may be slim even for a returned customer? I just want to set my expectations right.
Thank you!
Anyone has experience on getting a SO in Hawaii stores? Thanks!
I was there recently, they had very good stock on RTW and shoes.Stopped by the store today to check it out, but stock was really low. They didn’t have any handbags on display except for the space bag and only had one snake calvi.
Stock level is always "low" if the SA doesn't want to sell you a bag/item that you are looking for. If you are going there in August, just ask. You might be lucky. Maybe you'll have a good rapport with an SA, and maybe he/she can grant you your wish. The H game is a game of chances after all! Unless of course you are already an established customer with an established SA for a significant period of time---in which case I would imagine that you are already getting highly coveted offers fluidly from that particular SA/H boutique.Hi all,

Oh i should have mentioned as a return visitor (not as local), has anyone done a SO in Hawaii store? Not sure since most of the customers in Hawaii stores are visitors, is there any different rule than local stores? They do SOs like all other US stores. What specifically are you wondering about?
Nope, there is no difference. A relationship is a relationship, all H stores have a decent percentage of long distance “home store” clients. As long as one is singularly loyal to a store, and can generally get to the store within a few days of being called, H considers them “local” clients.Oh i should have mentioned as a return visitor (not as local), has anyone done a SO in Hawaii store?
