My DH visited the Frankfurt store a few hours ago and bad luck! No birkins, no kellys.
It was extremely busy with loads of tourists, so the SAs are not helping any one just yet... my DH said the shop is swamped with white bags (like Victoria, Lindy Jypsies and so forth). The only birkin they have is in travel size : (

Keeping my fingers crossed that Munich would be better.

Will keep you all posted on the inventory level at the airport and at Munich!

There were no birkins just some shoulder kellys at the Frankfurt Airport store 2 weeks ago. They had a great selection of belts - colourful straps, both constance styes, cdc belt etc, oran sandals and scarves. Jewelry selection was pretty limited too.

It's not straight out duty free. You make your purchase, go up 1 level to get a Customs stamp and return to the store for your refund.

Hth :smile1:

Munich Store is under-renovation, and the temp shop seems not well stocked...
My DH checked the Frankfurt store again yesterday... no Kelly, no birkin as per SA,... still mostly Jypsies and Victoria... Perhaps the airports are closed, so they are not getting any stock in.

I just called the Frankfurt store on Geoethestrasse to inquire getting a birkin in August as my hubby is going there. I was told that the waitlist for Birkin is 1 year and the stock is only for european market! I asked about the stock for Lindy and he said they usually have a pretty good supply of that.

I asked if I can secure my bag now over the phone by pay in full and my hubby can just pick it up after, he denied me. Everything has to be done at the store level. He basically said whatever stock they have available at that time, he can choose from that, but 99% there will be no birkin.

Hi kobe939, my DH was there for a week (as he was stuck there owing to the volcanic ash...). my DH said there was NO birkin and kelly when he was there. Loads of lindy and victoria, but only in the basic colours like white, etoupe, orange and gold colour. And yes, for most of the shops in Nordic and Germany, they do not take orders from travellers and they do not ship abroad : (

siuman, thank you for confirming that. Since I do want an orange Lindy 30 or 34, hopefully my hubby can at least bring that home to me. I guessi better make a special trip to Paris if I wanted to get a Birkin.

My DH said the inventory at Frankfurt and Munich Airport are not too bad.
He spotted an Orange Lindy at Munich Airport for sure!

Good luck! ;)

Will the Frankfurt airport location bring in a mainstream jewelry item? I'm looking for a Farandole necklace and with the Euro so weak, it's a good time for me to get one coming through the airport... it'll save me some long distance calling if one of you ladies know!

If you stop in Zürich, today morning I saw a lindy30 orange clemence.. )
You mean in the Duty Free Section? It's probably the same I saw 2 weeks ago, on top of the shelf? right from the door? There was another one, a large one in the men section too (Black or Navy Blue). Well, this orange Lindy was to die for, and I can't stop thinking about it .... I think it was more of a potiron than orange. :graucho:
