Just back from Dubai yesterday (24/10/2015 for transit only in DXB airport)

and got a Picotin 26 cm in blue (lucky me), but the price in Dubai very expensive and a lot higher from EU ! I got this one for 12900 AED ( I ask SA that what currency is cheaper, and she suggest that pay in AED, also ask her to convert in USD and EURO, around 3300 USD and 3400 Euro !)

compare with price in Milan for picotin 26 is 2250 € and for picotin 18 is 1720 € (oct 2015) , but i didn't have a chance to purchase in Milan because SA said it sold out

But I think there have a lot of bag there in Dubai airport because SA told me that they also have Lindy and Bolide and Halzan (I saw Halzan in red and Bolide in blue) but K and B didn't sell in airport store.

and also see a lot of twilly but expensive too! haha (164 € in DXB airport , 126 € in Malpensa airport Milan and 135 € in Milan boutique)

Note that Hermes in DXB airport are around Gate A

Though I travel to Dubai twice a year, I could not afford a H bag there....
The price difference with Europe is enormous!

Eeeek! Would you say it's very dark hunter green? It looks almost black in my photos but if I'm not mistaken, I initially thought it was dark green.

I wonder if they will drop the price? Do you think it's on consignment at Harvey Nichols? Recently, our local downtown Hudson's Bay started selling high end pre-loved goods. Another company has leased space inside The Bay, so it's not Hudson's Bay exactly.

Yes, missmoimoi, it's a dark green Hermès bag!
In fact, someone working there told me that if you had a Kelly or Hermès for example, you could consign It at what goes around comes around. Then It would be sold at either Bloomingdales or Harvey Nichols in Dubai!
I don't think they will drop the price we both saw!
They count on rich locales to take the plunge![emoji6]

Hi ladies, I placed an order for a rouge Kelly32 bag in Togo leather on 2012 from Dubai mall branch and still didn't receive any calls from them. I called them yesterday to ask about it, they took my personal info and still didn't call me back! Do you think it's normal to wait that long for a Kelly bag? I'm really afraid that I will never get my Kelly :(

What branch was it, Dode?
I know that lots of ladies in Dubai wait 3 or 4 years to get their K or B.

It was The Dubai Mall's branch. I called in 2013 and the SA said that they're distributing the 2010 waiting list bags, so they should distribute the 2012 bags by now?? 3 or 4 years? I thought we are not supposed to wait that long anymore.

It's quite frustrating to wait that long for your dream bag. I will wait for my Kelly ( and the Birkin bag that my sister ordered for me in 2013) but I've decided that I'm getting a couple of Birkin and Kelly bags from a trusted reseller instead.

I have been to the Burjuman Hermès branch quite a few times and everybody has been absolutely wonderful. One of the SÀs working there told me a 3 or 4 years wait was more or less the rule.
I never asked for a B or K there because Hermès is much more expensive than in Europe and and I told them right away.
It never stopped them from showing me everything I wanted to have a look at.
That's why I trust them with the 3 or 4 years wait!
