I’ve just received Mille Fuilles de Soie in Vanille/ Rose/ Bleu (cw 03). I would normally not choose a warm toned base as my complexion is quite cool toned but I was intrigued because it has very cool toned pink, purple and blue highlights on one side that I love the look of. Having tried it on with a bright, cool-toned top, I think it works on me but seeking some input please - do you agree, or shall I just stick with the pink cw I purchased a few weeks ago? Thanks! I’ll play a bit more and try it with other colours such as navy and purple too.

I just received CSGT Coup de fouet chemise in 05 caramel/chocolat/roux. How to resist a cw with such a yummy name 😋

Although there are more spectacular designs (looking at you, Tulipomanie) I really love the colors on this one 🧡🤎. This really is a very versatile cw and design to me. I might be keeping this, we will see. Any thoughts are very welcome of course 😁 ( I still want a Tulipomanie though, if I can find a cw that works).

Oh boy! I also have been eying this chemise. I think this is an amazingly rich neutral! A classic imo. I can see this being used a ton ( by someone with more neutrals than myself. Yes I need more neutrals ). If you have the wardrobe of brown leather bags, shoes, belts etc then this is a keeper for sure

I agree with @EtsyBoss however that the other, warmer side does not spark that much, maybe because of the colour of your top? I would love to see some more photos with other tops?

It looks amazing on you! The ivory background brings light to your face, so a great way to brighten up the darker toned outfits. Love!

Thank you @Nomad. I agree, it feels very neutral and classic, and thus very wearable. I tend to wear a lot more neutrals these days, cream, black, camel and pinks. I feel like this will work with anything in my closet… I am sure it would look stunning on you 😋

I'm drooling! This is so stunning on you. I had considered this GT, but online, the colors look so red/orange. I much prefer the brown tones I'm seeing in your images. A classic neutral that will go with all other classic neutrals! Definitely considering this one now, and thank you so much for sharing photos!

@GloWW0rM I'm also considering this one and have a similar color top to wear with it. It's so bright though and I'm not sure it works at least on the side with the yellows / oranges. Perhaps a slightly deeper more plum top? I think it looks best and amazing actually with the greenish side with that pink top. It tones down the brightness so it's harmonious and just abso lovely in my opinion, especially with your complexion. I don't think it would work as well on me with my lighter hair.

The other side though, the one with the hint of yellow and orange, is the side I hope I could swing. I've got some hot pink and new yellow things I could wear with it but what to wear as a top color? I'm not loving that side with the bright pink... it doesn't sing as it should, imo. I was thinking I'd be able to wear that side with navy or maybe plum, but IDK. Do you happen to have tops of those colors to see what it looks like? Or even a different / darker shade of pink? Maybe purple? It's such a gorgeous design. How are you feeling about it?

Thanks @EtsyBoss and @redheaddem, on reflection in the photos the pink top is too bright for the scarf, though it didn’t feel like that in person. Yes, I will definitely try with navy, purple and a more toned down wine colour in the next few days. They’re staple colours in my wardrobe anyway. Maybe then the rose face will pop a bit more.

To answer your question - I adore it flat. It’s soooo gorgeous and I just want to love it as much when wearing it. I don’t have many light base scarves so it is a bit different, too, and perhaps why I’m also hesitant. I usually go for the bright and saturated cws.
