 I know, this one is a beautiful design. Similar to many of the recent, busier scarves, but it has a nice combination of larger and smaller scale details. It could interest me if comes in brighter, clear colors...or something other than color palettes shown so far for the other scarves! I'm assuming they're still staying with the color family thing?
Hi @etoile de mer! I don’t know what the story is with the official color families but to my eye the cws seem to be much more narrow than they used to be, even narrower than when many complained about it a few years back. My sense is that they pick a range of colors for several seasons and apply them to whatever design they’ve chosen for a given season. There seems to be a few outlying colors in each season so things are a little different but if you missed or passed on a design in the basic chosen cws you might find something in the next go around.

Frankly, I’m conflicted about this seemingly new operating principle. It can certainly be a disappointment when the color schemes don’t suit but OTH surely there’s an environmental benefit in a more tightly edited production process. And then again, what price artistry balanced with ‘how many do I really need?’ I wrestle with this…. Cheers to you though :hugs:

Definitely that’s a Japanese Garden - I believe it is by Natsuno Hidaka

Zooming in on this it looks like the title is Mille Feuilles de Soie-- A Thousand Leaves of Silk. Very curious about the "B" side of this cw as it looks quite bright-- red, deep pink, vermillion-- so curious about the cws and mod shots generally!

Thank you @GloWW0rM. There seems to be a number of “things go flying” sort of designs. The last one with the green and blue border looks like my nightmare of the airlines destroying my luggage. And, I will definitely need an explanation of the teal bordered design with peacocks and butterflies laying waste to a tea party and house of cards. Not to mention the elephant in a suit and the giraffe reading a book. Are the animals taking revenge?
LOLOL! Perfect descriptions. Now I'm thinking if the teal bordered one as "Dogs and cats, living together...MASS HYSTERIA!"

The last one looks like when TSA goes through everything (eeeeverything) in your bag in front of everyone while looking you in the eye.

I'm wondering about bandana designs, and "men's" 100cm scarves coming up as well, any word on those? I just discovered I'm more likely to wear a bandana than a 90cm and prefer the 100cm cashmere format.

I only have one losange, but I’ve found it very easy to wear and would like to get more. Hoping we get one design I like this season, since the ones in the recent past haven’t spoken to me.

Thank you so much for sharing all the cw sets!!! So incredibly helpful.

Thank you!! This is so helpful!

It seems they will be a lot of rather pale backgrounds?

Yeah seems that way to me too. The color families this season are very much not my jam… but fingers crossed some of them look better in person.

Thank you so much momoc and to all who have contributed pics on this thread!! I am most excited about Hidaka's and Virginie Jamin's scarves! I can't wait to see them in person so that I can examine the details and colorways.

I love the whimsy of Candy Libris, but was hoping for artwork to reflect real candy. I am an expert when it comes to eating sweets. I pictured licorice ropes, gummies, foil covered chocolate horse/carriage, colorful marshmallows shaped into H emblems...what fun that would be. Sadly, I will pass on this design but it really is adorable, just not what I had imagined and hoped for.

I agree with your thoughts re Candy Libris. I was also hoping for some more whimsy.

Hi @textilegirl! I've not followed the scarf scene closely for a while so appreciate your insight. I've tended to look forward to being surprised and delighted by Hermes, and that's what's been missing for me for a number of seasons. Apparently the ones I've found to love recent years have been the renegade outliers! I have realized I mostly prefer 140s, so my interest lies there, but I truly have plenty. No issue there! ;)
