Hey all, for those interested here is a very quick photo of the Tulipomanie in caramel which I was able to try. It is a very beautiful and sophisticated cw which could still be worn quite casually I think. It is somewhat the reverse of my marine Bal de Soie with the sepia toned masks. The hem is a darker caramel-- very lovely. I am not sure it is doing much for my skin tone, and I want to compare it to the noir/blanc cw later this week but I know everyone's been curious. Sorry to be rushed but I hope this helps!

It’s very pretty but unexciting to me.

I did really want to see this one, thank you for sharing @LKBNOLA!

I think you look lovely but not as spectacular as with some of your other triangles.

I can see now that I prefer something brighter and more impactful on me, this is very helpful!

Two more cws, but they are not available at european webs for now..

And it's finally here. Very annoying as it was at the Fedex facility on Monday but they just let it sit there until today. I was worried after @LKBNOLA posted it and the reaction was a bit...well...anemic. But I never had expectations of this piece having brightness. Instead, I expected an elegant and almost understated classic. That's exactly what I got. I love it and I'm quite enthusiastic about wearing it.

I've done close-ups as well as a few modelling pics with different ties as someone mentioned earlier they were struggling with finding ways to wear it. LKB and I have very different colouring, so it looks quite different on me. My skin is a fair neutral to warm (depending on season), with light eyes and light blonde hair (about an 8.5/9). The blonde is also neutral in tone. I think if this is your style and your colouring is neutral to warm, it should look quite good on you. The caramel is neutral with a warmer contrast hem. The tulips are deep and rich, with true navy, anthracite, and those beautiful white tips. Please note the photos are taken in full on day light and the weather is hideous so the light is cold and unflattering (IMO). Modelling shots done in a camel/beige dress (which, coincidentally, matches the background) but this also looks great with black (I threw it over a black cardi coat). If you love neutrals, this will fit right in.

The first photo (closeup with tag) really shows the richness of this piece.

On black (much better IRL, the direct daylight - which you can see creates a wash over the photo by looking at the cardigan, which is normally a deep black - ruins it...but it still a great pairing):

Some modelling pics with different looks (I've got no makeup here, so with a splash of more colour on my face it would be even better):

Oh my you are gorgeous 😍 and you are exactly right about this Tulipomanie: it looks elegant and classic and it seems perfect for you!

I really like it on black as well.
And I really like the dark navy blue bits in the triangle, such a rich and deep color. Congratulations, you must be over the moon!

Stunning, and very elegant, as you say! I didn’t love the web pics, but was intrigued by @LKBNOLA’s pics earlier. There’s something very stylish and timeless about it.

Two classic neutral colours combined into an understated design is never going grab attention in the way that brighter shawls will, but it’s an extremely successful neutral and I expect it will become an easy staple!

Thanks for the mod shots, and to ‘Nola too, It really helps.
