since the lavender grey Tulipomanie sold out in a flash in my boutique, I ordered it online 🫣

It arrived and I like it a lot more than I thought I would 😊

I have to think, take the time to style it with my wardrobe but I wanted to share some photos already (just my outfit off today).

I believe we have seen all the cw now, except for the camel. Now can somebody please order the camel already and show it to us! Don’t make me order that one too 😂

It is pretty, but very bland IMO (my apologies to everyone - don’t mean to offend any other owners of this GT and political correctness isn’t my forte I think the color palette is not yours (I think it would be more suitable to winter types with dark hair frankly), and very odd combo of purple, gris chine, and yellow..

I'm a winter and this wouldn't work for me. Colours are good, but too soft, so there's not enough contrast.

I like it, but I’m not ‘Wowed’ by it. Agree with @Ashanti_Rose that the colours are not deep enough and there is too much grey space, in my opinion. I like the navy or white/grey on you more.

I agree with you. I also think that brown/dore tulip is out of place with the other colours. Sad to say they could have done so much better with the colouration.

You look beautiful and I think many scarves look lovely on you because of YOU! I prefer the white and grey one on you because it has allure. In my very humble opinion the colors of the lavender/grey one have no chic, even if it is nice, it is more casual, more ordinary for the sum of money it costs.

Including @Marie-the-Mary's point that to her this seems more casual and less chic as a cw-- so how it will fit into your wardrobe/wearability is yet another factor. It is true that all the GTs have more background space than the 90. As to the balance of the colors, I will agree to disagree as this cw is the closest to the argent 90 which has almost these exact flower colors. I am undoubtedly biased as I love that one and find it very easy to style. Thumbnail photo below for reference. The most important point is whether you love it (évidement).

I was so, so tempted by this colorway in the 90, LKB, but ended up going for the white background with bright tulips that is my SOTD for today. Part of me is thinking that the lavender gray GT is redemption. We'll see after it arrives.

Now as for my stylings, I believe you have a lot more coloured tops than I have. I basically wear ivory, grey, black, pink and cobalt blue 🫣 some camel too but it sometimes makes my face dissapear 🤪

I am not sure this works on grey, cobalt or ivory that much. Here you have some photos. But I am sure you will find much more options 🤪

I do see that the black and white is more formal and elegant, and the grey is more casual.

I must say though that the grey is really pretty irl. The balance of colors seems a bit strange, but is actually really pretty imo.

I am going to give it all a few days. No rush. And waiting to see @julian.f s camel cw too!

If one loves greys, Tulipomanie is definitely the triangle for you. @redheaddem, I was a bit late to the party regarding the monochrome Tulipomanie...but do think you can def. do better. It's pretty, but pretty isn't enough. I do believe the grey chine lavender one is better on you, though I have a sneaking suspicion caramel may be best of all. It's available on the EU sites right now - just got it myself. I was planning on going to the boutique, but we all know - with H - you see it, you buy it. Otherwise, you may totally lose out.

I'm also really struggling with the colour options this season. It just seems (and it has already been stated) that they are just rehashing the same colours for all the choices in the season. Has has been my biggest problem in the past seasons, and the pickings are getting slimmer and slimmer. Fingers crossed Tulipomanie caramel works. That will only leave the Camel Orphee on my wishlist...I cannot really justify more than 2 brown toned scarves in one season. They're both really different, but it also means that Palermo is out of the mix.

This is beautiful on you @redheaddem!!! I hope that you keep this-- it is different from anything else in your cashmeres (if I recall correctly) but the coloration is simply lovely with your beautiful hair and complexion. Two such wonderful corners with the violet and the camel grey flowers!!! And the short tie you make is genius-- showing a whole different side of the GT...

Oh, no, not to worry!! No hurt feelings at all. You are absolutely correct that the colors on silk look completely different than on cashmere. I only meant that we scarfies often have different ideas or see things with different eyes. And I think your point about whether a scarf/shawl "reads" as casual or more chic/formal is actually an excellent one that I take into account all the time. In any case, it would take a lot more than a mere difference of opinion among scarf lovers to hurt my feeling but you are very sweet to express concern. It is all good!!!! 🙏
