I think a 65 cashmere might be great. I love the men's 100s that I have. Do you not wear cashmere because it irritates you, or just because the 140s are too bulky?
I think I have such a heavy winter wardrobe that I just don’t wear them often enough. I just can’t wrap them all up around me or I get way too hot. I did finally learn last winter that I could just drape my 140 csgm’s over my sweater shoulders for that added detail and lowering my cost per wear, so that has helped.
Maybe I will have to ask my local scarfie friend we both know if I can try on some of her 100’s and see how they work  ;)

Ah yes, that gorgeous Twilly, I remember now! I hope you get the chance to try on the others, I have a feeling you might succumb to one or two more :graucho:

Haha well yes hopefully you are right. At this point I think I am hoping for cw 10 the most, as I suspect the other blue one is too close to the one I got.

Glad to see from the other thread that you love the gav you bought!

I’m in San Diego this week for work so I figured I’d hit up the San Diego boutique and see if they had any new stuff.

Fairly disappointing overall. Not many FW pieces and mostly things I’ve seen. I was thinking I might nab the Pantin City if they had it, but they didn’t. Also did not have cws of Parade en Fanfare that I still want to try.

They did have this gavroche of PeF. These aren’t my colors, but this did help confirm that this will be the first design I eventually own in like every format lol.

Thanks for posting - laid flat I would pass but I think it looks lovely on you, it tones beautifully with your top.

Hi scarfies! I caved and ordered En Liberte! shawl in cw05 Beige/ Vert/ Arnica. It’s not my usual colours but I wanted something different to what I own. Question is: does it wash me out? Beige is not typically a colour that goes well with my complexion but I feel like the other cooler colours balance it out and it works with my winter coats.

I think it looks lovely on you! It feels very strange to buy a cw when it’s outside our usual comfort zone doesn’t it. But you don’t look washed out to me at all. Good luck with your decision!

I think this looks great on you. Just curious…when you say aren't your colors…you mean for your complexion? Liking? Or wardrobe?
I adore the design in a gav, but am struggling with how orange or butterscotch/version is in every single cw. N I can’t do such dark scarves as the blue ardoise (45) or nuit (90) so I am out of luck so far for being able to get a Fanfare at all sadly.

Nomad, I think you might like cw 09 (the light blue version) maybe? It reads very blue and white…

I think you would glow more in cw12, @GloWW0rM  (it is the one @Notorious Pink has).

Thank you for posting these! I had my eye on this one as well!

This is really beautiful on you!
The colours around your face are soft and elegant and they do not wash you out imo. I also love the darker green, the yellow and the other stronger colours a lot!

Maybe try it with an other colour of sweater to see if you are feeling more comfortable with it?

Thanks, and you may well be right! I have cw12 on hold in the boutique and I’m going in to try it tomorrow as it hasn’t come in online in UK yet. I’m sceptical about cw12 as there is some white in it and that orange could possibly not play well with me. Definitely one for me to try on in person.

Thank you, and I will! This is me in my gym clothes receiving the package on my way out and I couldn’t resist trying it on before dashing

It has so little beige that he doesn’t matter. I think it’s a lovely CW. You look great!!

From this group, I must say you look absolutely stunning in Parade en Fanfare cw 10! The colors suit you impeccably well, especially when considering the photos shared by Blydia. In my opinion, it's likely the best colorway for you, taking into account your hair color and complexion. You could also give #11 a try, but just be cautious as it might wash you out.
Thank you @SilkCouture! I do love this cw on me, and I will try the 11 as well, so we can compare!

Good morning scarfies! Later today I am going to post two cws of 12 Leopards Double Face for y'all to see, but right now I have only gotten as far as these two gavs. To my great surprise I am already up to three gavroche this season and many years I get one or none! But I think it is a great size right now for me with a three year old grand daughter who I spend a lot of precious time with and this season there are many wonderful ones to choose from...

And because we are all so smitten with Parade en Fanfare, here is the gavroche cw09-- which is closest to the 90 cw (04) which I returned. This gav does everything I wanted the 90 to do! I am debating getting a second one to tie together...
