I am having a similar reaction this season @momasaurus. I really do appreciate and admire the artists and their skill. At the same time, I am not seeing much that looks distinctly different from designs and colorways from previous seasons. Maybe there will be some surprises IRL.
More and more I am liking the men's offerings. I adore the 100 cashmeres I already have, and some of this season's look interesting. Maybe they take men more seriously, LOL.

Given the well-known H whimsical sense of humour we enjoy and love, perhaps there is a scarf in the pipeline called “ Déjà-vu ! “

I was over at Roosevelt Field, so I popped in (I go to that boutique occasionally if my boys want to pick something up). I was surprised to see some AW23 there:

This cw was a bit…much…actually this would be good framed for a playroom or nursery….

I really liked this cw of Lapins

I reallllly liked this cw of the Pantin City twilly….which I determined is the same color family as the En Liberte! Shawl I picked up. I was really surprised they had it (I was hoping to find more Eleftheria and Toucans 140s from SS23), as it was the only AW23 shawl I asked about and it was the only one they had (photos in next post).

Ignore the band-aid I have had one issue after another with my hands the last few months. :shrugs:

I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this En Liberte! shawl is even better in person. It’s one of the very few times where I didn’t immediately determine how I would fold it; usually I can see which parts I like the best and always highlight those, but this one looked fabulous folded several different ways. Also, I was relieved that the orange-looking color is really a mustard (which makes sense as Moutarde has returned this season).

The shawl is sooo much prettier than the 90 IMO.

Oh this is VERY pretty, congrats!!! Such a delightful combo of colors.

I wonder if the color mixture is similar to this Parade en Fanfare. If so it may be hard for me to resist.

Super pretty. The colors are completely in sync and so summery.

This is an zmazing colorway and it has a beautiful hem too! I think this is my favourite shawl design for FW23!

Always great to see colors IRL and (I don't know that boutique) the lighting seems to be fantastic. And of course your home pictures too. Thanks!

As promised, some mod shots of Planifleurs in navy and Figure Artistique in yellow. I am not 100% convinced :noworry:

I love the navy colour but I am not crazy about the design of the flowers ( I prefer Robe Légère).

And I really like the colours of Figure Artistique but I find them hard to match with my wardrobe and the design is a little bit too classic on me…

I would love to hear your thoughts though :flowers:

HOnestly, I like the Figure Artistique, but I do prefer classic designs. The flower thing, though - so flat and uninteresting. I think it looks cheap.

this is so pretty!!! Did you pick it up from Madison?

My honest opinion - you can safely pass on them. Both are lovely though - but at the current prices it better be “wow” The Artistique looks very similar to other classic H designs - if you really want this look, you can find vintage Eperon d’Or from Japanese resellers for $100. The flowers are lovely - but ordinary. Sorry to be a “deinfluencer” here - just trying to save you your hard earned money:smile:)) wait to invest into something you REALLY like - so much that you don’t need to ask for anyone’s opinion:smile:))
@redheaddem
I agree with this. The price point now really requires LOVE and UNQUESTIONING COMMITMENT!
