Gavroche 45 Super Silk Quest Détail :

Hello and welcome! I'm new here too
The gavroches on H France are indeed worth checking out, beautiful CWs and designs, but I prefer the 90 or 70 formats.
The season has just begun, let's wait and see...
Thank you! In my collection, the 90 format prevails as well. However, the gavroches in the current F/W collection have caught my attention too.

Thanks so much, but @Setherwood's post (link below) was comparing a press day mannequin pic to an Hermes website modelling pic.

But, I agree with your point when comparing Hermes website pics (flat scarf pic vs their modelling pic). The modelling pics tend to better represent the colors.
Thanks for your gracious response :flowers: ; even following this thread, I sometimes get lost! :search:

I have to agree - I have avoided the Gavroche size for many years, but last season I bought 3 and have actually worn them. It’s just a nice little touch and since I also like to wear necklaces, it’s easier for me to make it work if my scarf is either small or large.

ETA: I really like this colorway, too!

Ok so I did a thing

Just ordered the navy Planifleurs and the yellow Figure Artistique… my wallet is hoping I do not like them both…

I will keep you posted when they arrive :P

Oh nice! What site were they available on? U.S. site still doesn’t seem to have any of the fall stuff yet.

Hello Scarflandia. I have just found new and lovely items in the gavroche section on the French site. Enjoy

Oooh thank you for sharing! I’ve literally just figured out how to wear gavroches in a way that is flattering on me so now I am tempted by them also.

For the Parade en Fanfare, I like this colorway, but it is akin to one of the plan 90 colorways so I’ll probably get the larger version. It would be cool if they did the pink colorway in the gavroche.

And I officially love the Silk Quest design lol. I hadn’t looked at it that closely before and had just thought ‘ugh Minecraft’. But now seeing closeups I am greatly entertained. I don’t know that any of the formats will look good on me, but I do admire it in the abstract.

Personally, I love it, but it won’t be to everyone’s taste, for sure.

I appreciate that a serious house can include humour in their designs. It’s a lighthearted touch that has been present for some time, particularly in the men’s collections. Ties and pocket squares have often featured whimsical designs, or hidden comic elements, and scarves and shawls in the mens’ collection have been gathering interest across a wider audience.

The balance in recent seasons has been more skewed towards the graphic/whimsical designs and we’ve seen experimentation with different sizes, formats and styles. There’s been a nod to more traditional designs and heritage techniques in recent capsule collections, like the SS “forever scarves” and some of the reissues. I expect the balance will adjust depending on how collections are received.

And, I still think it would be great as a blanket ;)
I think H is trying to appeal to younger clientele with those fun and cartoonish designs and move away from “old lady” vibe. I used to love those designs as one offs in previous collections but they all started to look the same. I miss the artistry of former designs. At this point I am only adding whatever grails I find on the after market or additional CWs of the beloved designs.
Having said that, I do love one CW of En Liberte and a black Clare - but the quality of cashmere is getting worse every year. After a few wearings the shawls are full of piling - not sure if they are worth that investment especially after the latest price increase.

Good to know, thanks for sharing. Was contemplating the green Clare but this is a turn off.
