Dressage tressage is my choice this season but am curious as to whether the recently posted CW1 is the same as the one shown in the earlier sneak peaks (far left mannequin). One appears looks darker toned than the other.

I guess they just be the same color but yeah that is quite a departure from one to the other. My guess is the mod shot is more accurate.

In other news about the collection, thanks @Hanton for the additional pics! I think the Parade en Fanfare is going to be my weakness this season. The crisp Art Deco pattern is made of win.

It's funny, isn't it? We do indeed often gravitate in the same direction. The brown CW of Clair is my first choice but I also adore it in the black as I think it would be a fantastic addition to my many black winter wardrobe pieces (so much black!!!). Most of the black CSGMs I have are filled with many hues (think La femme aux semelles de vent/L'Arbre de Vie), so this could be a really chic, understated piece that is also a bit ethereal with the shooting stars and planets on the outer edges (as well as the white contrast trim) and would work well by softening a black monochromatic look. I am actually considering both...but, of course, before I commit I definitely want to see what else is on offer (Who am I kidding here? I pretty much have concluded that both have a spot in my wardrobe .)
I wonder if the dark navy would also work great with your black winter wardrobe

I am assuming that 2nd scarf from the left is the ‘cityscape’ shown on page 1 - is that your thought? If they are one and the same, it looks terrific. I looked up Jan Bajtlik and see he is described as a Graphic artist, has done some work for The New York Times, also a children’s book called Auto - perhaps I’m adding 2+2=a Cityscape scarf! A good Distraction activity at any rate!

The Citiscape reminds me of the scarf from SS22 or 221 of the Miami waterfront done in the same style and perspective. I have it, but I can't remember the name....

Thank you for sharing this. I'm thinking you must be right, looks like the same colorway. As to which is accurate...?? I thought as shown in the Hermes modelling pic, although not colors I'd typically wear, that it could be a possibility for me. But, if it's closer to as it appears on the mannequin it's a  for me.

As I mentioned…

The flat photos on the website are all altered, to make it more difficult for counterfeiters. Generally you can see the worn photos are not altered as much.

I like the men's Rocabar de Ribe, but why is the horse sticking its tongue out??? Silly IMO. This new H "thing" of making many designs supposedly funny drives mad :annoyed:
Personally, I love it, but it won’t be to everyone’s taste, for sure.

I appreciate that a serious house can include humour in their designs. It’s a lighthearted touch that has been present for some time, particularly in the men’s collections. Ties and pocket squares have often featured whimsical designs, or hidden comic elements, and scarves and shawls in the mens’ collection have been gathering interest across a wider audience.

The balance in recent seasons has been more skewed towards the graphic/whimsical designs and we’ve seen experimentation with different sizes, formats and styles. There’s been a nod to more traditional designs and heritage techniques in recent capsule collections, like the SS “forever scarves” and some of the reissues. I expect the balance will adjust depending on how collections are received.

And, I still think it would be great as a blanket ;)

I love it, too! I think the horse is precious and the way they captured the shine of his hair on the scarf is amazing. And I do agree that this would make a perfect blanket.

Edited to add a "real-life" image and the scarf in matching colorway

Also interesting is the rocabar looks an awful lot like the Rambo Newmarket blanket. That Rambo blanket cw has been around for ages. Fellow horse people can confirm. I have wondered since seeing the h version which came first.

Hello - Hunter/jumper/dressage rider here! The H Rocabar colors are old-school Hermes...They were definitely part of the H lineup many years before Rambo introduced the Newmarket collection. I hope this helps!
