I tried on the La Vallee de Cristal silk scarf in the boutique yesterday (rose and gris), found them to be very underwhelming and don't look nice when tied-up. Not sure what the fuss is about. Is there something more significant about La Vallee de Cristal that I need to know ?

I went back and forth on this design and caved on the green with its wonderful emerald, petrol and pastel shades. The intensity of colors and shading are amazing, but for me personally, it overwhelms my frame when its just wrapped over my shoulders. It looks best on me in small doses- tight folds adding an intense pop of color.

Well, I actually like this on you! I did not like the design much at first, but now I love how it ties and wears, to me this is so easy to wear ( I have the green colorway but would love to have all of them). The grey is understated but classy, at least to me

The mood changes with each colorway with cw03 gris/parme/menthol serving as the neutral of the bunch. The menthol unicorn can add that pop if highlighted or quietly disappear if not. The lines created by the crystals may not be everyone's cup of tea, which is quite alright. There are other scarves out there. Here's a flat photo for anyone interested:

6 cw's of Claire De Lune are now on the US website! I snagged the black and the green ones and will see which one I love the most when they arrive! Hopefully not both! I had been waiting for the black to show up again but then I saw the green and I couldn't decide!

I can't wait to see the green on you @BlueLilac -- I am still playing with cw02 (orange teal etc) and have not yet tackled the green--I'd been thinking it is kind of suited to wintry moods...but @hotgalaxy showed how versatile it is for warmer climates, too.

Congratulations on your green La vallée! We are twins, it is a stunning piece!

I was in the Brussels store earlier today and not a single Vallée in stock… the SA was not even familiar with the design…

I must say the experience was not altogether very nice. I had only been to this boutique a few times before. The SA was lovely and very helpful, and she agreed nothing really made me glow, unless the Zouaves bandana shawl Marron/Natural/rouge. But the shop was so crowded, I had to wait for 45 min before anyone could help me, I saw some (VIP?) clients got offered champagne while others did not even got offered a glass of water, and during that time I saw so many clients harassing staff for bags

Back on topic: because of the hectic atmosphere, I was only able to make 1 quick photo of the shawl, I believe it was @Nomad who wanted to see it? It is a soft warm brown, that really lights up my face.. I liked it a lot on me but I did not feel like deciding on the spot… so I left it at te boutique for now ( I think I really prefer the online shopping experience and my smaller local boutique).

Haven't had much time to follow the thread the last couple of weeks, as I've been away on a business trip to Manila, (where it was way too hot to wear scarves, except for the occasional twilly). I'm back in the cold again now and noticed there was a new cw of the Parade en Fanfare 65 cm CS, that I just had to try.
