That may be the idea @shrpthorn since it is titled “Planisphere” and those corner circles look like map insets…
Agreed. Looks like Asia at the top, then going clockwise, Europe, Africa, Australia, S. America, N. America, and perhaps Antarctica in the middle? Perhaps the flowers are actually found on those continents? Just checked and Antarctica has only two species of flowering plants. The pearlwort is one of them. Photo from Rosado_as on Twitter.

Maybe Antarctica is between "South America" & "Africa"? Looks sorta like a stylized landmass of Antarctica, & Antarctica is the seventh continent....

Thank you for the photos @Lellabelle. That vert amande background color sure is pretty but to my eye, Robe Legere was a prettier floral... just my opinion...
Totally agree. I have the marine RL, so it would be redundant for me.

It’s a pretty design, but with my preferred ties I would always be showing one of those corner circles. ”floral medallion” springs to mind…

Ordered this La Patisserie charm twilly, not too sure if I'll keep it though. Ref: H853336S 02

$410 for a twilly? I know there is a tiny charm, but still…

Not trying to derail the thread. I love patisserie Francaise and I think they’ve done a really nice job of translating the design to twilly format.

Editing to correct myself! It is titled "Planifleurs"-- even more compelling evidence of what @Redbirdhermes found...
Yes, the artist, Christine Henry, reposted IG @hermes_bonbon's post of the scarf and says it is a "world tour of flowers that grow on our different continents" (translated from French).

I like that scarf on the left too! I thinks it’s a design I wasn’t drawn to in the early photos, but these colors on this one are looking pretty appealing.

I like it the more I look too...we shall see....

In love with this scarf-- plus my maternal family is from Buenos Aires!!!! It is wonderful in this emeraude...Thanks for the photo!

Any time I hear the word Pampa all I can do is start singing the song by Otros Aires "Aqui in la Pampa Seca..." I'm not from BSAS but have danced Argentine Tango since about 2005. :)

I am really loving the border and the stonewashed texture on the Pagni scarf. I don’t have anything like this, so this will definitely be my first pick up this season!

The texture looks delicious, so soft looking. Like it would feel like suede.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m talking about. Some seem like scarves from other (general?) brands, while designs don’t appear to me as sophisticated as they used to be. Again my personal opinion. It feels a repetition of similar designs and styles, to the point that I confuse who is the designer of what.

I may like Planifleurs (which I find similar to Robe Legere and I initially thought they were from the same designer), but I will have to look at how generous they have been with colors and shades adopted to make the design…how many screens they used, if those were still a thing in Lyon?!
That's the first thing I thought of too. Occasionally I will see a new scarf and think that they must have reused some screens from an older scarf, just adding new/other design elements.
There are def some that don’t appeal to me but I love this scarf which is a throwback to classic designs. I hope it comes in different colorways.

@SDC2003 - Thanks for posting the pics! This one is most definitely on my list! Carredeparis blog says this design was originally from 1988. The colors from the 80s were pretty garish IMO. (EDIT: i just did a search and saw two 90s on TRR. Black, and cream backgrounds, not garish at all). The new colors are softer, so if anything it is an improvement. I like that they have been released it as a 70.
It’s looks like a Souvenir scarf from Bavaria.
@Croisette7 - you're right. But I have often started out a season dissing some scarves, only to end up buying one anyway :giggle:
