My first (only?) purchase has just arrived: Sous Le Charme d’Orphee, double face, 90cm, rouge/rose poudre/bleu gris.

I wanted to see what a double face was like and I really love this. The colours are way beyond my usual but they will definitely work with my grey base colours.

I will write a full Scarf of the Moment post when I have had time to work with the scarf.

Ahhhh so nice. I love the splash of rainbow colors particularly in the last pic on the bottom!

You’ve actually put your finger on the struggle I’m having with this scarf - it’s gorgeous but a bit difficult to tie in a way that features my favorite parts, like the wonderful lantern showing in the last photo, or the finches (those birds Know Things). It’s easier to end up with a lot of black showing, which I don’t need because i wear so much black already, or worse the light blue elements (so toxic to my complexion that I didn’t even post that photo). But it’s so beautiful - maybe worth keeping and taking some time to learn knots that will feature the fabulous scarf center and are not too difficult, so that even I can execute them?

I was hesitant about AW22 so far but I guess now I must have a Lanternes! I've already asked my SA for the STUNNING rose nacre version that @Pivoine66 has, but if that doesn't work out, this may very well be my second choice.

I must thank @Pivoine66 for the fabulous photos too of the lovely rose nacre CW. I really hope it will look good on me

Like Tea for Parrots, I ordered the fuschia bordered Lanternes. Pivoine's cw07 was my first choice (and it still is) but I was very intrigued by this one and I am pretty sure this is going to be a multiple for me. This fuschia border is gorgeous and I have nothing like it. I stay away from fuschia near my face but the border is far enough away and against the black it is stunning. I can totally see having the beige and the black as options. The pale blue is also very lovely but it duplicates too much blue and white in my collex. I will post photos of that later for people interested...

Hi all! New shawl for me today, GTN in pastel colors. I am showing a bunch of pics here. To summarize my thoughts: this is a pastel dream, hem is coral, I think this shawl goes best with warm neutral tones or warm colors - I have included a navy comparison. Final thoughts: I was worried that this shawl replicated my Amazones (rainbow colors) and Cosmographia (pink) too much for my small collection. But after trying it with some warm neutrals, I think I can find a place for it. I plan to pair with cream, brown, tan, lilac or blue purples, mint, sky blue, variations of orange/peach, and goldenrod. In case anyone wants to see mod shots of this gorgeous colorway of lanternes, ballons, et cocardes, I took a lot of them because I’m having trouble deciding if it will work for me. @LKBNOLA did you receive yours yet?

Was on my wish list from the beginning - but then no longer because of the very delicate pink background (usually difficult for my complexion) - but then sooo beautiful and versatile IRL and great with ivoire, camel, beige, nudes, light grey, grey, jeans, black, khaki, bordeaux, rouge sellier ... that I just had to take it home. And the beautiful photos by @sonnetsofsilk confirmed it was the right decision.
