I like the Alice Shirley design but I am always leery of the double sided scarfs because of my experience with the first batch of double sided C'est La Fete that had so many runs & other production problems (I had to return 2 before I found a prefect one). I feel if I'm going to buy a double sided scarf (like the recent Tigre Royale) I have to scrutinize both sides really carefully and am afraid I've missed a tiny run along the hem. These types of runs that are primarily caused by hemming with a dull needle I believe & are REALLY irritating to me on a "new from box" scarf. Just my opinion....

I SO much wanted the double sided La Fete, but like you- the scarf had runs.

You just beat me to it, @laurenad and @textilegirl. I like the Etoupe, too. As I already have two of the Men's 100 versions (bright multicolor and bright blue versions), I think I will be able to resist it, though.
