LOL, surprisingly it's very easy. It can be done through corporate gift 'deal.' When I was still really into the scarves, I used to join a pool together with some colleagues to make the numbers (10 scarves) then get a person to go to the store and say I want 10 scarves RIGHT NOW (in a kind of arrogant voice, LOL) and say give me the receipt with the your company's name for those scarves.

So they count as a corporate gifts and then you say I want to see the store manager to discuss the corporate discount. Since it is over I can't remember the number, you qualify for the discount. If you still don't believe me, PM me stating your intentions, LOL and I'll scan/give you the details of the Store Manager's card in London and re: PM it and you can phone her up and discuss the details!

P.S. Surely the ladies in this forum residing in NYC or some other big city can pool together and do this! Oh, it also works with cups, plates, towels, certain bags, perfume, scarves, scarf rings, ties, etc.

I read an article awhile back about how Chinese customers (customers in China) pool together, go into a store, and ask for a large number of a particular item and demand a discount. They do this in all stores, even designer stores. It frightens the SAs, but the manager usually gives in.

Not saying that is exactly what you were doing, but it reminded me of it.

As far as a corporate Hermes discount, I think you're right. When I was in the Taipei store a couple years back, I bought multiples of a certain item. The SA asked me if they were corporate gifts....
