You can absolutely do this but you don’t need the VPN. As long as you are shipping to the same country as the country of the website, it will work no matter which country you are physically in during checkout.

I’m actually doing this somewhat. I’m from the US and will be placing an order at the Canada site. It cancelled the order for my first one due to I guess using PayPal. But the second order looks like it’s going through and approved. They were both for pickup.
