The ones on the right look bare around the end almost the way that sheepskin and pony skin goes when its been worn and rubbed against.

If it can be of any help, I am a true 39 in Birkenstock and also took a 39 in the Chypre.

Curious if anyone has found a solution for the staining the black shearling ones create? I love them but only wore them once because mine stained my feet so bad the first time wearing them…. =(

I’ve notice the one with shearling fits true to size I ordered 37 and fits well . The one without shearling fits smaller .
Just order your regular size

Regular size was perfect! Half size up was quite uncomfortable

I would say get a 35. I’m usually a 35.5, but purchased orans in 36 and Chypre shearling in 36. I also purchased size 35 in the non shearling Chypres and they were too small for me.
