I would love to know how your shearling Chypre sandals are holding up, assuming you’ve had an opportunity to wear them! I think I’m leaning towards returning mine, as they arrived with two small bare patches. I imagine that would get worse quite quickly given that I intended to wear them inside as slippers. Sad to see them go though...they’re so cute.

So far only worn in the house and loving them, I am definitely keeping these.:heart::heart::smile:

Wife has worn her shearling out and about and loves them. Some breaking in will be needed with the top strap having some stitching on it and rubbing into the top of the foot, but overall she really loves them.

I have to admit that the shearling Chypre has some emptier wool patches in sone areas and the stitching part is for sure sth making it hard for me to wear them.

I am actually thinking of having the stitches covered up with a piece of leather but the shoe repair... might help?

So many people are mentioning the discomfort from the stitching, so I’m glad I decided to preemptively return them. But I still love the look of them❤️

I was lucky to grab a black leather pair from the Australia website, they disappeared as quickly as they appeared. I read through everyone's suggestion to size up, and was so happy that the 38 fit perfectly (usually I am 37.5). We are in the middle of winter here, but I'm ready to wear them the first chance I get. So comfortable.

I received them yesterday. I think I should’ve gone a half size up but this was all they had, it’s still comfortable and it fits. I just feel like it’s too exact… I’m used to having a bit of space on top and bottom. I’m usually a 39 and this is a 39.

Mine too , I’m size 37 and got 37 I don’t even have space from front and back it’s just exact .. oh well!! it’s so hard to chase this sandals , I”ll still keep it .
