Has anyone here tried buying the men's Chypres instead of the women's? I managed to score a pair of Men's 41 (I wear 39 in the Orans). They came in yesterday, but I'm undecided if I want to keep them. I keep thinking they're a bit wide, but it feels like the style itself is wide to begin with. As a side note, I had to tighten the straps so they are more snug around my foot. Otherwise it fits great
Here is a pic - I need a second opinion!
I haven’t worn mine yet but just from trying them on around the house I can tell they are going to rub underneath the strap on the top of my foot. As others have suggested, I think a corn plaster or some sort of padding will help. I’m just hoping that over time they get more comfortable as I wanted these sandals to be a workhorse pair! X
I have them. Bought them probably 2 years ago? They were definitely very uncomfortable at first - now it's a bit better. The issue is the thong part - it rubs against the toes in a weird way. I only wear them for short distances, definitely not appropriate for a long walking day.Speaking of The Row, have any of you had experience with the Ginza sandal (flip flop)? They are so gorgeous, but I’ve heard they’re uncomfortable. I’m still waiting for the chypre to come back in the black suede

I think your feet get a little lost in the shoesHonest truth, your feet look look so tiny in them. The straps dont look good either pulled all the way/hanging. I know you might not want to hear this but I do not think the fit is perfect.
