Picked up 2 pairs - 1 in white and another in shearling the other day!
my SA offered the shearling ones first saying that she thought they would suit me :giggle:

was never a “fluffy shoes” sort of person until i slipped them on… so soft!
haven’t had issues with chaffing for the shearling pair so far…

the white ones do bite… i had a teeny abrasion on my right foot after wearing them for a couple of hours today. the stitching on the underside of the straps rub against my skin but nothing a corn cushion or padding can’t fix! overall a comfortable fit!

i sized up half a size to 36.5 (im a 36 in orans usually), as recommended by my SA.

I think chypres in general do take some wearing in, even my suede one gave me some rubbing initially but now its much better and I find them such a great comfortable everyday shoe.

I haven’t worn mine yet but just from trying them on around the house I can tell they are going to rub underneath the strap on the top of my foot. As others have suggested, I think a corn plaster or some sort of padding will help. I’m just hoping that over time they get more comfortable as I wanted these sandals to be a workhorse pair! X

I agree 100% about the shearling. I love them so much and had zero interest in them initially. I love the color of yours. What is it called? I'm still waiting for the leather ones in the right color. Ugh. I tried on olive green suede yesterday in the mens. Super comfy.

the color of mine is Bois de Santal!
It shows up a little more pink in real life - like a nude base with hints of pink/blush?

The suede ones look pretty comfy in pics!
Hopefully ill get to try them on instore next time - they sell out so fast!!!

ughhh just as I expected.. they are too big on me :( I don't understand why people say to size up, they are huge! I am so sad, I was so looking forward to rocking them this summer
Sadly I have to return them :(

I’m sorry to hear this. Same happened to me. I don’t understand the suggestions to size up either!

I also think that the white ones (is that what you said you got?) give the illusion of being wider/larger fitting due to the dazzling bright white leather in contrast with the black footbed. The white ones I got first looked like clown shoes on me!! The black are more subtle for sure. I do think other people rock the white ones though.

Hope you manage to find your correct size.

Omg! Was there a 39-40 at all? Bc it’s sold out now. Just want to know because I literally paid resale price on poshmark a couple hours ago and I could literally just kick myself in the face if I missed an opportunity at purchasing from the site!!! I check the site every couple of hours throughout the day so fml if I missed it.

I am the same size in orans as in chypres (38)
(As per my SA recommendation)
I am a 37.5 Hermes boot, 37.5 chanel ballet flat; 38 chanel espadrille; 37 Manolo; 37 gucci; 37.5 brooks sneaker;
37 birkenstock (if that gives you an idea of sizing)
