Since I never tried them on… should we size up or down?
Yeah I have wider feet and I am usually a size 38/39 it depends a lot on the style of the shoes…They run small... so I would say size up (base on all the comments before)!
If you are women's sizing, size up half if you have normal feet, size up by 1 full size if you have wider feet..
For my personal experience, I wore the Oran in 37 and I also got the Chypre in 37, but I do feel like I could also get 37.5 in both! (but it was a matter of luck that I found the only 37 online so I didn't get 37.5, I think the half size up would fit even better.
No I don’t like the men styleI am 40.5 in Orans and the 42 Chypre in mens sizing fit perfectly. I'd recommend sizing up 1 size if you want to go for mens sizing.
I typically wear a 36.5 - 37 (37 in Orans) and I have to size up to a 38 in Chypre! I also have pretty narrow feet...Since I never tried them on… should we size up or down?
Same thing. Oran size for me is 38.5 and chypre size 40 fits most perfectI typically wear a 36.5 - 37 (37 in Orans) and I have to size up to a 38 in Chypre! I also have pretty narrow feet...
So I was so excited to get my Chypre sandals, and I took them with me on my Singapore trip to take full advantage of sandal weather. I got myself a fresh pedicure and was ready to rock these throughout my entire holiday.
Good LORD they HURT… I don’t know if it’s because mine are Epsom leather, but the top strap has basically cut into my skin, scraping it to the point of bleeding. I tried to be a big boy about it and continued to wear it out for a full two days, but it’s become unbearable.
I’m fervently praying that the top strap will soften with time, but until then, I’m going to have to succumb to the trend that’s been going on for the past few years of normcore-ing these bad boys by pairing them with socks…
Le sigh…

At least I have pretty Giambattista Valli socks…
I wish I could, but given that the sandals now probably contain enough of my blood for someone to put a hex on me, I’m pretty much stuck with them…This is one of the reasons I haven't worn mine, I just had this feeling with Epsom. Thanks for the review. Mine are going back for sure, will wait for the softer, goatskin version.

That gives me some hope. I got the suede version but the hardened edge and seam on the upper strap cut into my skindef because its epsom.. mine is calfskin, it was painful in the buckle area but now I can walk in them with no pain at all all day..
