I’m usually a 37 in all other shoes (37.5 in Orans but 37 in the woolskin Orans)and the 37 chypre in woolskin fit fine but in the regular ones I had to go up to 37.5 and even then my heel is slightly out but I have pretty narrow feet so there’s no way I can do a 38. I’m going to keep the 37.5 since my DH threw away the original shipping box
If you look at the h.com size chart, half sizes are actually same length but just wider.
would anyone with suede chypre sandals in 39 be able to measure insole for me? i am 7.5 US and 38 is too short for my liking
my feet r sitting on the edge front and back! my understanding is half sizes r same length and diff width, i am a standard width, with most H flats in 37! and according to H website sizing guide 38 is 244.6 mm. do i really need 39 in chypre???

Do you have a photo of it worn? The thing is when you get 39, it might be too wide. But if you want more length, you really need to size up.

i do not like lots of space front or back but dont want it to look small either! what a pain they r with sizing! i'm trying to see if my SA has 39 to try. thank u!

Now I see what you mean, yes definitely get a bigger size as these do look small. I feel you. Chypre sizing varies and is a pain haha.

So my first every pair fits me like that, so the other pairs I got I sized up. But it still felt comfortable. My SA said H made a huge mistake with their sizing on the Chypre, so they made some changes on the Extra sandals.here is one i took while trying them on. god knows what size i need!!! i got Early sandals in 38 only because i luv them and there was no 37.5, they r a little too big but OK. i also like Empire sandals, so will see if he can get me a pair. the guessing game of sizes kills me!!! i thought CL was bad, but looks like H is not much better 
Little inside scoop that the Chypre will come this winter in full shearling, in and out.
i am still waiting for my Extra to come
Empire is tricky too…they are super cute tho!
Sharing two Chypres. one a full size up and the other just half a size up and they look nearly identical! Can you guess which is a full size up and which one is just half a size up?

Actually the opposite! But when I measured them honestly there was no difference. Boggles the mind. I’m normally a 35.5 and these are 36 (white) and 36.5 (black). Both fit well. Sizing up more than one size is too wide for me. I don’t like how my toes spread out with the bigger sizes due to the wider front.
Oh wow I totally thought black was half. They both look fine. I wonder if the sizing was different depending on color
