Hi everyone,
my size dilemma with the chypre
I usually wear a 38, then I luckily got a chypre in 39 which was good in length but i felt like they are to wide then I tried the 38,5 - perfect in width but the length on my heel seems a little short. I dont know what to do now.. I dont want to look like I wear shoes that are too small
how is your experience with the heel part of the foot? Do yours look slightly short as well or is it my feet that are weird and not made for the chypre
I would be thankful for your experience

Dear moderators,
I don't know if it is possible, but would you please consider moving this thread in the Clubhouse section?
I think it will have more visibility and so it could more easily be found by everyone who needs it.
TIA!

I really want the shearling style. I have super narrow feet. Oran doesn’t work for me bec my toes goes out of it. I was wondering if Chypre shearling is more snug and May fit my super narrow feet. I don’t wanna do an online purchase without being sure. Thank you

TBH I think this is a common problem for those with non-wide feet. I personally dislike it being too wide as it would make it hard to walk on for me as it is flat and somewhat stiff also. Having it exact on the heel is how it was designed (based on model photos). But then also a personal preference is warranted. Some even prefer the chypre in there own size. :) What did you end up deciding?

I have the same problem. I’m usually a 37 in all other shoes (37.5 in Orans but 37 in the woolskin Orans)and the 37 chypre in woolskin fit fine but in the regular ones I had to go up to 37.5 and even then my heel is slightly out but I have pretty narrow feet so there’s no way I can do a 38. I’m going to keep the 37.5 since my DH threw away the original shipping box :P

Thank you for your help dear!! I kept 38,5 because 39 i almost slide through. I haven't worn them yet because its cold in Europe, but we will see how this story will move on when I start wearing them haha
