And yes, a lil bit of rubbing alcohol on the inside and wear around the house with a sock on. Or just wear with the sock on and leave overnight stuffed with rolls of socks.

But the Kelly doesn't come out in rain. That plume, could. :shucks:

lilOB called, something about the puglets let her in and she's on my couch eating cheetos waiting to go shoe shopping :shrugs:

Lol! She's only two days early, but I guess one needs to carbo load before shoe shopping (even if it is carbs of the orange processed kind :D).

True, that Plume looks like it's already been through some weather...

i just discovered that if i order something off H website, i will have to pay $30 for shipping! they told me that because i live in HI, they only can ship second day air for which they charge $25, plus extra $10 for HI residents.:censor: . From my recollectionDid anyone had to deal with major shipping costs?

Any time I've ordered off the website, I've been charged shipping.

She knows at Auntie Pugsy's house she'll always find carbs! She said she came early for recon work, had to see what shooz I had already, and what shooz I need. She made the puglets find her a clipboard and everything! :shrugs:

It's very beautiful Pugs!

No no no. You don't like it. Right? (help a pugsy out here! :sweatdrop:)

I've always had to pay shipping, I thought it was $25? But it's never been waived, even if shipped to my local store. Sorry :flowers:

Have you asked the local H if they could do a search and bring the item in for you?

yes, but girl i talked to was rather abrupt, she just said in "no negotiations allowed" voice that i will have to order it from website. However, i will try another H store(there are 2 in my area)and see if another SA tells me any different. Really don't want to pay this much if i don't have to

That SA sounds like she needs to go back to CS school. Hope you got her name so you know who NOT to use in the future....

May I offer a brief rant? DM knows DH is on a business trip starting today, and she calls and says, "What's the weather like? Looks really bad. Is DH's flight delayed? Where exactly is he going? Oh, there's bad weather there, too. Well, I guess people do travel in the winter. I'm not calling to worry you." Oh, REALLY? No, she's not calling to worry me, she's calling because SHE'S worried, and she wants me to hold her hand, so to speak. I resent this. I got enough on my plate worrying about my own life by myself! This is why I think twice before telling DM some troublesome stuff. 'Cus then I have to handle my own concern about said stuff, AND HER CONCERN TOO. If she's worried about my business, she needs to handle it. I realize that out of context this might sound sort of sweet, but in context, this is another example of my 'rents saying, "Um, could you handle this uncomfortable emotion for us, please?" ARGH! Okay, rant over. Thanks, Peeps.

Totally get it, Mindi. My mother actually thought I wasn't good enough for DH. She thought HE could do better. And she told HIM and ME!! No, she was being funny. Just her evil creepy self. Maybe she was being a little sarcastic. But she wouldn't even buy him birthday cards for son-in-law, because he was more than that to her. When we were first married, DH and I both were on the road (worked for the same company) who did she worry about? Two guesses. There was a horrible incident 30 years ago in DC and just our daily commute was travel. A plane that had just taken off from National crashed into the 14th Street Bridge in a horrible snow storm. And we didn't even use that bridge, but you know how one can miss a turn, like looking at a new diamond ring, but I digress...Somehow I was home already and there were no cell phones, they were all calling to make sure DH was okay and worrying the cr*p out of me. There was no instant news; we probably didn't even have cable. Thank G-d for no call waiting in those days. And, no DH did not take that bridge, ever.
So, you can at least put your leg behind your head and giggle about Henry and his Mama.
Really, I worry about everybody. All the time. Now, you've given me another person to worry about.
