Good morning lulilu, beachtime, etoupe and restricter. Lovely snow falling here. Waiting for the call from school that I need to pick up kiddos. Road are getting bad I think. I am at work. Trying to get done what I need before I need to leave.

My goodness, Pugsy, you are a secretive little thing aren't you!!! Now, you have gotten to be in the private room, too. The closest I've gotten to the private room is the powder room (which is much nicer in Vienna than NY) and the "closet" or dressing room. I had to wait for my SA last week in a private space so nobody would see me with the BOOK. Can you imagine that a woman took up hours of her time and bought nothing? And wanted freebies? Anyway.

One of the senior managers is leaving at 1. I'm technically the same rank he is but...well, whatever. I'll be flying out the door behind him. The trip home is going to be a nightmare and then I have to get the snow off of my car. Bleecchhh. It's a good day to be Jinjy.

^^Ha ha...Dolce is in heaven today!! She loves the snow!! Wants to be outside all day!! DF has had enough. He works from home so he is home with her all day. I am dreading driving home in all of this.

I usually have pretty good luck in NYC with hotels. It depends on much time in advance my secretary is trying to get me a hotel. I usually stay at a decent downtown hotel. (Or I change my plans lol).

It's almost time for Meals on Wheels and my ride will be here soon. It's cold here, so I will need gloves -- and a scarf I love to get to wear a cashmere something when I go do MoW. It keeps me warm and my client likes the colors.

It's coming down pretty good here in midtown Manhattan. Kinda looks like one of those snowglobes. It isn't really sticking because of the traffic and the heat from the subway below the sidewalk but you know where I live there's probably already an inch on the ground.

One of the truly, really nice things that DH used to do for me in the old days:
I took the train from Boston to Andover. When it snowed or iced or did something, he would drive by the parking lot and clean off my car. He also left the engine running while he did this. He got the car clean, DS was in his car, and he turned off my car and he went home. I got to the parking lot to a nicely scraped car and sometime it was still warm!
I like the new iPhone app that turns on the car and does all that for you. I saw a commercial. I think you have to have a chevy or some GM and on-star.

Totally understand the concept of jinx. In Yiddish, Restricter and I would say, "Kinehora, pu pu pu" so the evil eye shouldn't see it when you would talk about it. I love the bag and I love that you got it. I don't understand, though, did you really fly back a second time? Next time you are within 300 miles of us, please give me a heads up, because I'd love to come see you!!

Work update-So today I come into work and my boss isn't in today! So course, everyone is going nuts. Further investigation though is turning up with it's layoffs and the boss is ill (maybe taking a leave, maybe not). I will just have to wait and see.

It's suppose to snow here tonight and tomorrow! Snow or no snow I am going to Hermes tomorrow! I need a little pick me up!
