I'm so pathetic. Am having a huge pity party for myself today. I have to go out of town tomorrow, and I haven't packed the first thing. I don't want to leave my pups, and it's been raining all day.

Any have any quick "pick-me-up" suggestions? I'm so desperate, I've even considered getting on the dreadmill. :nuts:

Good for you on the SC. I, however, am off LV for the moment. I brought a bag in for repair (had it for less than 10 months, used it about 8-10 times and the handles were separating from the bag). Initially, I was told there was a quality issue and the handles would be replaced for free. As it turned out, they replaced the part that attaches the handle to the bag and in the process scratched the bag. Best part? They are telling me it's my fault. Way to go, LV.:mad:

I haven't seen the SC, but I loved it in a photo (it wasn't red.) I have a few LVs and haven't had issues, except once with a tarnished lock. It was a little misunderstanding. I had NM send me an Ellipse and it came with Louis Vuitton's original padlock to his horse and buggy, I think. It was so gross and they wanted to charge me for a new lock set. They actually believed that I just swapped an old lock. Duh, why would I buy and brand new bag and put a yucky old lock on it. They obviously had a lock on it because it was on display.
I haven't had problems with my LVs, but I don't get into the special editions. I have three or four that I use with some frequency -- the monogram idylle speedy, the mahina lunar (or solar) PM, my azur Berkeley and red epi Alma. They are my rainy day bags.
Anyway, DS just took me to the market. I bought him two huge bags of groceries. He just left to go home. He hasn't been there yet. He slept in DC last night.
Well, dinner time. Leftovers from last night. Good planning.
Oh -- and did anyone "get" the oscar show last night? I have still not heard one positive word yet.

Lol! That happened to me on one of my first trips to H...I asked which Hermes red that Picotin was, and the SA said, It's RED, as if I were an idiot who never learned her colors :D

Bmom, he's my VCA SA, so I'll cut him a little slack ;)

We've been without internet access & phone for the last two days. Gotta love Comcast. :mad:

Today was a gorgeous, totally rainy day----rained alllllll day. We really need the moisture. (I love the rain!)

Watched the Oscars last night. Thrilled for Collin Firth! Love him! Surprised by the lack of jewelry.

Sorry I can't catch up properly. I hope everyone is doing well! :heart:

BBL-I also have a red epi alma. Fun, easy bag!!

CG- could you pack/download a book you're really excited about and save it for the trip? That always helps me.

Here is an idea. Spend the entire time at the hotel Spa so that way you can wear a bathrobe the entire time. Order in room service. Who needs clothes?
