OB - did I read that right, that you had to queue up at the school to get lilOB in?! I think that goes on here in a few schools in the city, the parents camp out overnight outside the school door to get their daughters enrolled in this private school. It's craaaazy!
Sorry I have been so absent lately and not posting much, things are super busy here and I've not been able to catch up - I've just been checking tPF every now and again but not had time to post much. Hopefully things will settle down a bit soon!
Anyway, I have a nOir question! I really really REALLY want to get a nOir ring. Anyway, the problem is the sizing. Since you gals have nOir rings, what's the sizing like compared to Tiffany? I went into Tiffany today to get my right hand ring sizes - my middle finger is a 7.5 and my fourth finger is a 5.5. So I'm thinking I could get an 8 or a 6? What finger do you gals wear Pete the Porcupine on? Or are nOir sizes totally different to Tiffany?
So not a whole lot happening with me anyway other than work, work, work. I took today off as a holiday so I could go get my hair done since I'd be too busy at the weekend (my mom came to visit us today, we're going shopping tomorrow!) Then we went out for dinner at my fav Thai restaurant, it was so yummy.

Actually, I think I'll steal lilOB for a bit! I'd love to hang around anyone with such sartorial splendor, particularly her innovative headwear. And, I'll steal sweet Collin from CK for some snuggle time!

Oh OB, those darn boots! Oh the suffering to get into those boots! If only H would make the calves a bit bigger than the teeeeeeeeny tiny size that they make at the moment.
Avril, it depends on whether they measured your finger using the narrow bands or the wider bands. If they used the thin rings to measure you, you can get a slightly larger ring size since the porcupine ring is a wider band. I normally wear a 4.5-4.75 on my right middle finger, and my porcupine/hedgehog ring is a 5. A teeny bit loose in the winter, though.

Avril -- Tiffany -- ring? Did I miss something? I think All American sizes are the same and European rings are the same. I don't do rings like NoIR, because there is just no way my fingers will work in fashion jewelry. I wear a size 4, 4.5 at the most on my left wedding band finger. My right hand is a huge size 4.5+. Of course, this doesn't match the rest of me.
I found an old St. John give away. It's a huge mood ring with "diamonds" around the oval stone. I have to wear it on my most swollen finger. And, my mood is not good!!

Lala, so sorry to hear about your ailments. I wish for you sweet relief very quickly. A double ear infection is nothing to laugh about. Please try to take care of yourself. Hopefully, Mr. Lala will keep the Cap'n (or does he have a mummy-related moniker now?)

I did too and finally found a beautiful Mark Cross (remember them?) one at Off 5th on Monday. Pebbled with gold feet and wide shoulder strap. Can't wait to wear it! Good luck on your quest!
Hi BBL! ha ha no you didn't miss anything! I just went into Tiffany to get my ring sizes for my right hand because I wanted to get a nOir ring!
I wasn't sure if jewellery is like clothing - ya go into one store and a size fits, you go into another store and try the same size and it doesn't fit! So I was hoping that jewellery stores weren't like that!
